    my guess is the reason why the alpha's have retaken power is because only they know how to show mercy to the abused.

    it is similar to when a poor battered woman returns to the abuser for financial security and 'love'.

    the twisted irony is that the privileged beta's are actually the greater evil to those like them who are poorer, at least for the time being as arrogance appears to have a way of undoing the powerful. wendy's has the better deal this time around in my humble opinion.

    One can either Start the day off or pretend to start the day off.
    I did that very effectively in college.I wasted the days away,
    waiting till night.When Beer drinking,and Pot Smoking and bar
    hopping was almost heaven sent.
    One reason was ... I was never not busy as a beaver growing
    up in both Grade School,then High school.
    I played sports,was an Altar boy,a patrol boy and took
    piano lessons for 5 years.Attended Charm school { Dancing school }
    every other friday and had a paper route in 8th grade.Plus bought
    a folk guitar and took guitar lessons.
    Plus I was not allowed to leave the dinner table until I finished
    all my vegetables.
    Going off to college was the first time in my life I knew
    what free time was.I dint waste it.I was near professional at
    goofing-off and procrastination.
    So ... Have a Nice Day.

    The guys who sold pot and coke when I was in college were high calibre AHs - so I was never tempted to use the stuff - a lucky break.
