Feds: Man threatened to kill CNN employees

    "Guys, this is an example how how political rhetoric is becoming all too real"
    (from the video at the link)

    The perp, named Brandon Griesemer, a 19 year old from a Detroit suburb (Novi, Michigan), made the threat to kill all CNN employees, to mow them down with a semi-automatic weapon.

    He is currently released on bond.

    Now, if he had merely advocated "killing white people", he might be invited to speak at the next Democratic Party national convention, but then might also face public criticism for those remarks. Life is dangerous, be careful what you say.

    Wait a minute. He was charged with transmitting an interstate threat? Let me see if I understand this right. If I ring my neighbour and threaten him it will be a clear cut case of making an illegal threat, right? But if I ring someone in another state the crime is worse?

    The latter is a federal charge as opposed to a state or local charge.

    Oh, I would worry about her. Any death threat against a high public official is something to be worried about. But again, that is not the topic of this thread. This thread is about death threats to CNN.

    I take it the point of this thread is to suggest "right wing" rhetoric is causing some people to threaten others. And more specifically, the President's comments about CNN is at the core.

    Is that correct?

    Actually, I made no mention of the perps politics or his other statements. His personal politics are unimportant to me.
    However, there can be no doubt that the President's wildly inappropriate comments do play a role, here.

    So the ultimate goal of rhetoric is to get people to kill others?

    So, for example, the ultimate goal of the Resist movement, backed and supported by Hillary, Obama, and others, as well as that of Progressives and the left's MSM partners, is to get it's supporters to threaten to kill people who don't believe as they do?

    That's quite the admission.

    I do not understand your statement, because it makes no sense and sounds like gibberisch-like bellyaching for no real reason.
    At 19, a person is no longer a minor.
    At 19, a person can drive a car, buy beer, vote and serve in the military.

    And there is no mention of a "liberal ecosystem" anywhere in the OP.

    Next time, work a little harder to troll instead of making imaginary stuff up.

    So do try to keep up. The "new thinking" provided by the social engineering crew on the left maintain that "full adulthood" can't be attained until the child reaches 24. So, this one not being 24 indicates that the liberal perspective would suggest that as a minor, their ability to fully understand the impact of their acts is beyond their development. Do try to at least keep up with liberal dogma...

    You made no mention, but you implied it. However, you confirmed it.

    I think there are very gullible and psychologically compromised people in the population. Rhetoric designed to inspire action has a more dangerous impact on them.

    I think people need to be careful when they create rhetoric based on deceit, lies, distortion, and misrepresentation. The left's MSM, and the people feeding them those wildly inappropriate distortions are creating a very dangerous atmosphere. There are some on the right who do the same.

    When there is significant positive news to report about the economy, unemployment, etc., yet 90% of news coverage is documented to be negative against one specific person/party, the line is being crossed, and that is a serious problem.

    Are you suggesting only "right-wing" rhetoric causes people to threaten others, and "left-wing" rhetoric doesn't?

    Is there some other reason you punted when asked to face the message you wrote?
