What are all the other ways you claim Adolph Hitler was a wonderful person compared to Jesus as told in the Bible? Really, present your entire moral-relative defense of Adolph Hitler and the holocaust - if you even admit there was a holocaust against Jews and many other demographic groups.

If you are going to find every possible excuse to spew out hatred of Christians and the Bible, maybe you should actually try to learn a little about it first. "Hell" in the original language means "the grave" and the Bible says non-believers have no immortal existence whatsoever. That is throughout the Bible, OT and NT. "The dead have no voice." The non-believers "die" and go to "hell" (the grave.) "Satan" is "thrown into the lake of fire," meaning destroyed.

There is NOTHING in the Bible of Jesus - or anyone else - saying "Jews are going to be throw into the lake of fire."

Of course I COULD try to explain to you that Jesus of the Bible reportedly was a Jew - but you'd never believe that, would you?

We need a few wackos here and there of each extremist view so that we are exposed to the broadest scope. We tend to acquire more than a few and that makes things exhausting sometimes. I don't think we can ration ideas and ideologies in coupon books that we pass out. So it is what it is, and we just deal with it.

Certain arguments do not advance the cause of rational discussion. In my opinion, arguments of 9-11 truthers, birthers, anti Jewish arguments, anti Muslim arguments, anti Mexican, or anti black arguments do not advance the cause of rational discussion.

Now, arguing that we need to enforce immigration laws or deport illegal aliens I would say are not "anti Mexican" unless specifically phrased as such.

Likewise, arguing for more law enforcement and tougher sentencing is not anti black though I know some consider any "law & order" argument to be such.

I don't consider making the case that the U.S. gives Israel too much foreign aid to Israel as "anti Semitic". But I consider making the claim that "the Jews control the banks and the world" is anti Semitic because it plays directly into many of the nastiest anti Jewish arguments that have been around for centuries.

 

I agree that they do not 'advance the cause of rational discussion' but democracy has to deal with plenty of those ideas, so we might as well practice here.

I ignore 9/11 truther junk and blatantly racist posts, whether it's about Jews or blacks or whomever. The best defense against this sort of junk is to ignore it. When people respond to it, pro or con, they give the original poster what they wanted. What they don't want is to be ignored, so I ignore their posts.
