Democrats will call it "crumbs", but do the math. 260,000 x $1000 = $260,000,000 invested in the US economy. How many other companies have done this, and how much is the total investment in the US economy through these bonuses? This is an unintended benefit to the US. Nobody predicted this, and it is big. Everyone remember who did this. It was not the Democrats. They would take money from you, not let you keep your money or pass legislation that encourages this kind of major investment in the hard working people of the US. Thank you President Trump and Congressional Republicans!

It's a transparently political move on the part of Lowe's. They know that 1,000 dollars per employee is chump change compared to how much they'll save from encouraging the populace to support the party of "More money for us and also **** you" in hopes that some of those proceeds will go to the working class. This will happen once. The right wing will then use it to justify the millions of times when they make the idle ruling class richer at the expense of the poor, because maybe this time you'll get a slice of the pie too.
That's an interesting way to look at it. The total including all the companies must be getting way up there by now... I'll take a thousand dollar "crumb" any day of the week. With the tax cut I imagine people will be able to keep more of that bonus, too.
