House Democrat Schiff says memo sets stage for firing of special counsel

Declassified by order of the President.

That's the highest the executive branch goes.

It's all coming unraveled for the left.

 

They will release the memo today, feeding the political frenzy, and more importantly, feeding the right wing ferver to stop the investigation.

These are very scary times. The lack of common sense, and the complete and total lack of critical thinking skills by those on the right who are willing to stop the investigation based on what politicians tell them is just stunning. It is all driven by their hatred for anything liberal, that they are willing to destroy the republic by refusing to question their own. The driver of all of this is Republican Pravda knowns as Fox News. The disinformation coming from them, and from republican politicians is just stunning on a level we have never seen before. This is born out very clearly in the right wing ferver swamps blind inhalation of the Nunes memo as fact, even before its release.

Simple critical thinking is the downfall of this country. The right is ready to end the investigation, destroy not just individual careers, but the entirety of checks and balances of our government over a memo written by politicians. Forget looking at who has something to gain by the memo, forget context, forget facts, nothing is more important that taking down liberals. Thru all of this, the right claims everything a witch hunt, yet, cant let it play out to see what they find. Not seeing that their very own leaders on the right are attacking the investigators, and not the investigation. They are attacking the investigators, not the evidence. They are attacking the investigators for one very simple reason, cast doubt on the investigator and by proxy you cast doubt on the evidence, and the entirety of the investigation.

There was a time in this country when those on the right supported police. Remember "blue lives matter" ? We couldn't believe those thugs that were shot, because the police were there to keep us safe and they were above reproach because they carried a badge. Guess that went out the door when Trump told you it should.

People just need to take a step back, look at whats happening without partisan blinders on and ask some very simple questions:

1. Who gains from the investigation being ended ?
2. If nothing illegal happened, then why not let it play out ?
3. 4 guilty pleas and still the "nothing to see here" ?
4. The memo.....why suppress any and all dissent to that memo ?
5. Why are they not challenging the evidence, and instead challenging the investigators ?
6. Why all the lies in the beginning of the investigation from the Trump campaign and their "meetings" ?
7. Why fire Comey if they did nothing wrong ?

The easiest of al questions: Why not let the investigation play out ?

Who said anything about ending Mueller's investigation. It will end by itself. A new investigation into who and how FISA warrants were obtained needs to be initiated. I think AG Gowdy will do that.

 

They were of the strong opinion that Hillary Clinton would win, as was all of Washington, and this FISA thing was only an 'insurance policy'.

The difference between Donald Trump and the FBI is that, despite a year long investigation by at least 15 anti Trumpists, there is no evidence of any 'Russian Collusion'. Now, despite the FBI and DOJ fighting against Congress, the first bit of information released shows the FBI and possibly DOJ, breaking existing rules and laws.

 

BLM, among others, wish to expose wrongdoing within State and Local police but not any possible wrongdoing among those who do Federal policing. Very strange.

Did you expect the FBI say anything different? did you actually expect the FBI say everything in the Memo is absolutely true that we broke the law and that we are corrupt?

Only evidence that has been made public that was in the Dossier that was conformed to be true was that Page made a trip to Russia but that was public information

Then why did BOTH the FBI and DOJ object to the release of the Nunes memo on the grounds that it contained misleading and inaccurate allegations?

If it requires the passage of legislation approved by your BLOTUS why would the Dems counter information be allowed to be released without the same degree of rigor?
