Should Jews Thank Nazis For The Holocaust?

Of course no one can deny that this was a very tragic, horrible, disgusting event. However, although it was not the only factor in the formation of a homeland for Jews, it did help give political and emotional justification for the creation of the modern state of Israel. Not only that but many Jews migrated from Europe and settled and became prosperous in the most powerful nation on Earth, the United States.

Therefore, should Jews thank the Nazis for the Holocaust?

 

No. Even horrific acts can yield some positive results. Every cloud has a silver lining...

You thank someone when they acted with your best interest at heart. You don't thank them for murdering 6 million people in cold blood.

The Holocaust "industry" (if you want to call it that) has turned out to be one of the most profitable "industries" for Jews since WWII. When you think about all the money they've collectively made on the subject when it comes to movies, books, etc. Easily billions when you add it all up. Not even mentioning the billions you and I(US taxpayers) give to Israel annually as a result of it.

I'm guessing this is a put on. Nobody in their right mind could possibly consider anything the 3rd Reich did as a positive thing. Every time I hear someone praising Hitler and Co. I really wish that person and their whole family had been Jews in Germany in the 1930's.
Of course, what goes around, comes around, so perhaps it will be their turn to be the persecuted, sometime in the future, and their line will be eradicated, for the betterment of mankind!.

OP found some black dude "being thankful" for slavery in a youtube video, the "Uncle Tom" thread that resulted didn't go so well, so now it's time to draw a false equivalence between the Holocaust and African slavery in the Americas.

 

Israel was well on its way to being created without World War Two and the Holocaust. The Holocaust ensured that the resulting state of Israel was far, far smaller population wise and poorer than it ended up being.

No, just as African-Americans should not thank slave owners for bringing Africans to America "for a much better life compared to life in Africa" (as plenty of White people and some African-Americans contend....). African-Americans were also not "better off" during the slavery-era, as the same "Africans were better off in America" people contend.

 

Of course, USA has committed countless atrocities against African Americans.

I do not believe that assertion. Many Jews were also enslaved in Russia in 1827-1857. They were called Cantonists. Maybe even my ancestors.
