When you analyze crimes on a case by case basis and take into account the Millions of legally owned firearms and Millions of law abiding people with concealed carry permits, you realize that Firearms are not the problem, and every day, many more firearms are manufactured.

How do you figure? Where is this massive problem? The biggest problem I see here is that suicide is being counted as gun deaths. Suicide is the cause of death, the gun is just the tool used. That comes off as extremely disingenuous...

 

The anti-gun left refuses to see the large majority of people who die from gunshot have themselves to blame.
They do this because they know if they address the truth of the matter, their argument fades from relevance.

 

Our gun death rate is far far higher than any other first world country. And yes suicides count

We have a lot of people in this country that have drugs but should not have drugs.
It seems we cant keep things out of the hands of those that are hell bent on getting them.

 

Guns make both murder and suicide far too easy to commit successfully and those are the stark facts

 

Yet we try with drugs. We make much less effort with guns

 

I don't concern myself with lesser nations, and unless they are superpowers, they are lesser nations. There is no comparison for the US, any attempts at such comparisons are doomed to fail.

Suicides should only count as suicides, not as gun deaths. Its intellectually dishonest, no other suicides are used to double dip like that.

 

You can do as you please. The comparison is valid. Gun death is gun death. You are just as dead either way

And it doesn't work with drugs. Why would we make the same mistake twice?
