Clinton policy has NOTHING to do with backing off on NATO progress in east Europe. And, why would Russia be interested in having Bill C back in the White House - even just as husband of the president???

The idea that sources of campaign opposition research would necessarily be released to the public is especially rich. Politicians may release source information for specific points they release to the public, but it doesn't serve them to state what or how research was done.

 

Point is that it's a personal choice. If you chose to get one good for you and if you chose not to great also it doesn't make a person a freak for not getting one. Why would I or anyone in my family get a flu shot if we don't need it.

 

That's fair enough, thanks. I didn't claim you were a freak for not getting the shot. If one doesn't want the flu shot for themselves perhaps another reason to get it is to try and help protect others from flu, especially if we have high risk people in our lives, children, our elders and those with weaker immune systems. Like you said though, it's your choice and I get that....

Since the CDC states the current flu shot is only 10% effective (which is equivalent to zero when placebo effects and other issues are taken into account), almost anything will work as well as a flu shot.

Cherry picking. Generally it is 40-60% effective. Some years they get it wrong.

Beyond that, the placebo effect has more healing power than God and prayer.

However, if you want to avoid the flu, boost your immune system. Eat healthy foods. Eat the super foods! Cut the carbs and stop eating sugar. Lose weight. Exercise.

I would bet this provides more immunity than a flu shot or prayer. When I went low carb and started exercising [intense exercise], I stopped getting sick. I've been sick once in over 6 years and that was because I was working 100-hour weeks filled with high stress. I used to get the flu or a bad cold every year - often twice. My ex was medical worker so she brought home anything going around.

I've had intimate contact with women who were coming down with something, and surely contagious, and still didn't get sick. I didn't do this on purpose but it happens when you date a lot.
