Imagine the Democrats so cocksure that their sex war produced results as to suddenly learned the public turned their backs on them and will continue to support Trump? It caused sheer panic to set in. They are in fury and rage. How can their plan go to waste and explode in their faces. I say it is money. money gained due to tax changes. Money due to gains from employers. In politics, despite the media blackout, the Dems appear to be crashing and burning in the polls as the President's approval numbers rise. He's at 47% and if he can get to 50, it really would be lights out for the Dems come November.

Nine months out, the 2018 midterm looks sad for the Democratic Party. The party keeps scrambling for a gimmick that will magically turn their fortunes around.

The *****-hat resistance and Antifa movement are not impressing voters.

Democrats discovered the hard way that opposing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act was dumb.

Workers looked at their first paychecks this year, and thought, "Democrats said this was a tax cut only for the rich?"

Pelosi would not even give the people crumbs.

The Russian dossier backfired. Voters are now seeing that Obama spied on Trump. That's not right.

And sitting on their hands at the State of the Union address made them look like the peevish sourpusses they are.

Democrats have to defend 2/3 of the seats in the Senate and due to gerrymandering few House seats are competitive. It is unlikely the democrats will gain many seats.

The Democrats jettisoned a large constituency, union labor, called "white working class" in hopes that the post-racial era would end and they could rely on race hustling and fear mongering to drive minorities to the polls in big enough numbers to offset their loss.

"White supremacists" are Obama voters and others whose livelihoods were attacked over his 8 years in favor of illegal aliens. They were never going to vote for the 3rd Obama term. Never met one myself. If I did, I would shrug it off the way I usually shrug off slurs about my religion.

There are 25,000 Americans who might be considered activists. That's one every 152 square miles. You should be OK.

If I were black, I don't think I would have voted for the woman who in 1994 called black youths "Super Predators" to justify repurposing funds from universities to build jails --- especially if she ran on a platform of ending the mass incarceration she and her husband were responsible for.
