You think there is some government system that can eliminate all "losers" in the world? How exactly?

So you'd be happy going to work everyday but only taking home 75% of the pay for the job and 25% of it going to someone sitting at home?

Interesting the Liechtenstein has a Corporate Income Tax rate of 12.5% and a max personal rate of around 24%.

Are you proposing a new tax reform to slash the corporate rate further in order to eliminate income inequality?

How would you sell the idea? Would you replace humans with AI to reduce bureaucratic costs? AI may not be ready to handle the tasks involved. I'm not sure.

    1. Allow workers to open individual vested accounts to cover the critical needs that matter most to Americans - healthcare, education, food and shelter for unskilled workers.
    2. Divert the flow of revenue going into failed government programs and agencies to those accounts.
    3. Over time, and if the balance in the accounts exceeds the amount required to meet the designated need, permit the transfer of that part into personal bank or brokerage account.

Government is better at cutting checks and transferring money than running programs and agencies.

The system -requires- losers. It doesn't function without it. You know this. I'll keep it simple also.

    You're not being honest.

Best I could come up with off the cuff. The idea is to convince voters to cut out the middle man, Big Government.
I think it is time to make them an offer that is too good to refuse.

    ahh... zero sum economics!

The fallacy is the focal point of the redistribution crowd.

Funny story, I have 3 jobs open in my firm right now, all making at least double minimum wage, full-time, with benefits. Know how many applicants I have gotten that actually put any effort into a resume or cover letter? Posted a week ago.

These people that you speak of needing "help" were in fact born into the richest country in the world. They won the lottery. Billions of people in other countries would love the opportunity, and not hold the entitlement mentality that coming here means they are owed something.

The overwhelming majority of the people who can't provide for sustaining themselves are almost always a result of bad life choices. You know it. I know it. Everybody knows it. That doesn't however stop you from ignoring the fact in order to attempt to validate your perspective that they are victims.

What is wrong with our country is people like you.

Ok, so then its 40%. And guess what happens, MORE people decide that empathy is ground for dependency. Then its 50%. Then more... then 60%.

You are too short sighted to see that your agenda encourages other people to be dependent on others, which only encourages more of the same.

I suppose people that go through life without a plan B would have a problem. I suppose retraining is out of the question? If you are healthy you should work................end of story.

Holy COW, it was then 1980 but I did a careful study of Stockton as part of my entering a contract to buy the Stockton motor inn.

The inn is in a part of Stockton that has it's share of Mexican violence. Anyway, my view of what they need is a huge expansion of their deep water port facility to make Stocton a container shipping hub similar to what is at Oakland, CA.

Stockton accommodates sea going vessels that wind through the Golden Gate and up the Bay to reach a junction that leads to Stockton. They have long had sea vessels coming there. But they only accommodate vessels up to a limited size. They need to improve that a lot. Stockton has a fairly large airport. At one time, it had some carriers providing service to the Stockton Airport. They were not getting enough business so Stockton needs more business that needs the airport. You would get more locals using it were it a bit nicer.

Stockton has long been troubled. My study found that around 40 percent of the residents work for government. Those have steady incomes. It is in an agricultural area so the first assumption wold be it has a lot of farm, workers. Simply not true. It is not possible that today there are more farm workers in that area than in 1980. The rest of the population with jobs do service jobs, work at stores, and on and on, but do not work for farms.

And I need to study it's current finances to learn where the money to pay for this project would come from. Not that having a plus $500 in income to the low income types won't help, but they are not where the money will come from.

"Dorian Warren serves as co-chairman the Economic Security Project, which is contributing $1 million to the initiative."

That's 167 people for one year........where's the rest going to come from.

Disagree. In fact, you can't say with any validity that the point about "the vast majority" is even remotely close to accurate, so I call utter bullshit on your assertions.

Moreover, the issue isn't me. The issue is no compromise from Marxists and fascists.
