Actually Starbucks has always allowed people to hang out in their shops and use the free wifi and restrooms without buying anything. That's been their business model since the beginning. And the CEO himself flew in to talk to these two guys and the community because he feels the community was treated with utter contempt not his business. ON STARBUCKS AND “RACISM:”

1. Now Starbucks is saying this was all contrary to their policy and, presumably, anyone who wants to sit in their shops and not order anything and use the bathrooms has the right to do so as long as they like.
2. Starbucks, in other words, has just announced its stores are not stores primarily, but are now privately-funded shelters and bathroom facilities for the homeless. You don’t have to spend a slim dime in the store to sit as long as you please and use the bathrooms.
3. That’ll be great for Starbucks’ business. Their yuppie ******bag clientele love the homeless in the abstract, but we’ll see how much they appreciate their coffee shops being jammed with them, close-up-like, occupying most tables and chairs.
4. I don’t even want to defend Starbucks; I want them to have the full taste of Social Justice Warrior progressivism. If this is the company’s ideology, then they should live that ideology to the full.

Live by Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, die by it as well. I don’t think Starbucks realizes what they’ve let themselves in for after years of left-wing virtue signaling.

Well, now that we are fighting back and they are getting their asses kicked they are going after their own, who quickly cave and grovel resulting in a quick and gratifying dopamine release. Social justice activists are increasingly focused on exacting concessions from their own, the political wing that has folded these activists into their core constituencies.

Now they preen and prance about self-righteously declaring ever more doctrinal and behavioral purity. Starbucks bought this, they have no one to blame but themselves.

And Starbucks response was to cave as quickly as possible. That employee likely has the basis of a stress claim. And giving into these folks just inflames them.

How about the teachable moment being for the black community that a private business is not your personal park bench and if you are not going to purchase a product you have no right to take up space paying customers have a right to use and if you are asked to leave then just leave and if the police give you a lawful order obey it and file a complaint later.

Naw probably more, here is how you get rich with phony claims of racism. Plan to go into a business cause a disruption of the their business or service, refuse to comply with their request to leave their private property so the police have to be called, refuse the lawful orders of the police, get it all on your camera then post it on facebook and then wait for the check to come in.

 

I never figured that the heads of a business that makes such great coffee's could be so spineless. And the re education seminars are essentially based on slandering and defaming the characters of thousands of its employees. There is a great sickness in this.

But in the end it does not matter as this kind of behaviors is no longer being overlook so businesses can go our of business or begin to treated ever one equally.
