The video also shows the white man ordering while the other guy was making a scene. The same LA starbucks that wouldn't let homeless people sit on the sidewalk our front let me use the restroom before making a purchase. I asked "May I use the restroom before ordering?" They said "No problem."

Was it because I was white (The same color as the 2 homeless men who were chased off earlier) or was it because I made it known that I was there to spend money? HMMM.

Wrong. The white man used the bathroom before ordering. They didn't let the black man do the same. This is a clear mess up on Starbucks part. When the black man asked they told him to leave.

I never spoke with the CEO. I understand the PR move as people seem to have a hair trigger when it comes to accusing others of racism. One man was still there placing an order while the other never talked about ordering. I see one paying customer and one man taking video and making a scene. You may only see the color of their skin, but there are other factors that refute your claim that it was a "clear mess up". Why let a few facts get in the way of a good reason to be outraged?

What would have been hilarious in the Starbucks incident would have been if the black guys were corporate staff on an audit to determine how big of a bitch the woman manager was. But I'll bet that Starbuck's corporate staff is 99.99999999% white so the likelhood of that happening is Zero. But it is something that public service companies should routinely do to determine if their service people are following corporate rules.

I just rewatched the video of the police commissioner about the original incident. He mentions in passing that the two black men were denigrating the arriving police officers, saying that they were "only 45K/year employees and didn't know what they were doing". I thought that was interesting because it fills the blanks in the kind of attitude our real estate broker friends might have had with the Starbucks staff prior the police call.
