When will man be able to survive, long term? AFFORDABLE?

As it is, we have but a short time. BUT, man says to his awesome self, we are so brilliant, that we will come up with perfect solutions, LATER.

Right now, ALL we have is capitalism. It recognizes NO wisdoms. Nor does the Economy. Nor does the future hold a likelihood of some better organization of labor or resources.

We are in the system for the long haul.

The assumption MUST BE, or we are clinically insane, that we will soon enough become efficient enough, to afford the outlays necessary to transform, and retain, sustainability.

This is akin to thinking that along will come moar responsible Americans, that will curtail their lifestyles, to eliminate the debt.

We are who we are, as a species, and that aint good. As the bible mentions intelligent species an unknown period prior to present man, is it possible, that man developed technologies, and his hatreds, and greeds, drove him to extinct himself? Over and over? How would we know?

I don't feel that man has progressed ONE IOTA from say, 100,000 y ago. All the same pet sins, and proclivities, are accounted for. Which should be clear by how relevant ancient roman mores and traditions fit our present.

If we do NOT control the men that use us for gain, against our own wisdom, by using hatreds, and greeds, and arrogances to control us, we have likely less than two hundred years to life. IN ANY FORM but amaeba. IF that.

This control will require we lay a hand of FACEBOOK, and every cereal advertiser on the planet. We must stop telling folks what they should want. For gain.

If we do not educate a sustainable lifestyle into man, there is NO chance of escaping an extinction. NONE. Those on the right, think education for those kind of purposes, is anathema to FREEDOM, truth and all that is good.

Which leaves us with NO HOPE, if the right end of the political spectrum is not quelled. Sure we can comfort ourselves that WE will all be dead, so, WHATEVAH, but the fact still remains, we are on a course for extinction, and the right thinks that inevitable, so lets dominate till doomsday.

Tell me how we don't go boom, those on the right. Tell me how a rightward tilt, will make things better, long term. Instead of ruining things faster.

At this point, apocalyptic destruction is given. The bastards killing the earth have faces and addresses, and they're winning. Folks need to start planning for the after. Hope isn't lost after civilization collapses and billions die. Something has to come out of this new dark age.

 

I think hope is also genetic, and illusory.

 

Maybe it is. Believing in anything means taking the risk of being dead wrong, and I think that the stakes are worth it in this case.

 

When the doc says cancer, thinking it will all work out, is death, admitting you need RADICAL LIFESTYLE CHANGes, or you die, requires the doc saying, you are ****ED.

The answer to your question is how hard is man willing to work. I lived in Alaska off the grid for a year and spent less than $1000.00. Most of that was fuel and ammo cost. I hunted, fished, caught crab and shrimp...chopped wood for heat and cooking. The question is, how many have the intestinal fortitude to live off the grid?

We should conquer other nations, that is a sure way to ensure survival.

Their Expansionism is what did them in. they did not care for their pets, or subjects, and so, there was rebellion. They also started using the military for everything. Makework. they also, didn't have any technology, to interact well with their taken countries. Hell, the Jews were TERRORISTS. They would stab a person, right on the street. Romans, and collaborators. People don't like being invaded. Even still.

I disagree with this being just white nationalism. The entitlement generation is what is ruining this country. They want everything handed to them. They don't have strong work ethic because they've been taught that everyone is a winner.

My thought is that anything that comes easy isn't worth having. You have to work to keep a relationship strong, teach your kids proper work ethics, and above all respect everyone until they prove they don't deserve it.
