He has now hired as his attorney a man who was mayor of NYC on September 11th, 2001, who claims there were no domestic terrorist attacks in the US during the Bush admin. I can see their conversations now, "Can you keep a secret?" "Of course Mr. President." "Even something truely monumental? " "Absolutely, in fact I'll probably forget it by the time I leave your office. Who are you again?"
The thread title should be changed from: "Trump hires Giuliani, two other attorneys amid mounting legal turmoil over Russia" to: "Trump hires Giuliani, two other attorneys amid increased efforts by leftists to seize power." The fools are incredibly eager for a President Pence.
Actually, the circumstantial evidence of collusion is very strong. Trump continues to feed it by kowtowing to the Russians. His latest hit in this regard is publicly undermining his own UN Ambassador in front of the whole world. Of course, Trump continues to pretend that the Russians didn't interfere in the 2016 elections, which is now beyond any doubt, nor will he direct anyone in his Administration to do anything about it. All that really remains is to see whether Mueller has enough evidence to present a strong case in court. ALL of the publicly known facts point straight to collusion. NONE of the major points of this case have been discredited or refuted.
oh no...is it Finland collusion this time or Estonia or....oh I cant wait to see what the left makes up next.
Russian interference in the election was laughable Trolls posted their opinions on social media and you think that cost hillary the election? That is just silly The onlty impact MIGHT have been russians hacking hillarys GPS and she could not find the State of Wisconsen
What circumstantial evidence is that? When Fusion GPS got the Russian dossier from Christopher Steele? That's untrue. He has acknowledged that the Russians interfered with the election by them feeding Christopher Steele a false dossier which was paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC.. That dossier was later used to get a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign so that Russian involvement and later spread into the FBI. That's correct and it likely goes all the way back to BH Obama saying he could be more 'flexible' with the Russians after the election.
Right. In fact the President told Comey to investigate if there was any Russian involvement in the Presidential campaign.
Except that part of over a million documents handed over to the Mueller team. It's going to be pretty damn hard to charge obstruction when the 'suspect' is gladly helping you investigate lol. And here's the problem with circumstantial evidence: It's very very difficult to get a conviction on that, because of the 'beyond reasonable doubt'. Those words are there for the defense. No jury is going to convict on a case entirely made by circumstantial. It has to be backed by physical evidence.
