    http://thehill.com/regulation/court...-government-trump-campaign-wikileaks-alleging

I am uncertain of the legal merits of this case, but the Washington Post reports that the lawsuit echos a similar legal tactic that the Democratic Party used during the Watergate scandal. In 1972, the DNC filed suit against Richard Nixon's reelection committee seeking $1 million in damages. It yielded a 750,000 settlement on the day that Nixon left office.

If this case is allowed to proceed, the discovery phase is going to be absolutely ****ing nuts.

Should be. Especially when their server gets to be looked at by someone other than DNC hired people.

Yes finally having to turn over the servers would but funny as hell. Guess they see the writing on the wall over the Mueller investigation and are going to plan K to get rid of Trump.

    Whakadoo plan 7342362 on deck.

There was no collusion. A judge will dismiss the suit against Trump.

I thought Dems lived Wikileaks and the guy living at the Moscow airport.

Indeed it will be nuts, we want that server inspected by a neutral third party. And well, it looks like the DNC will comply(or unwittingly walked into a trap.)

I'm thinking this could be legal grounds to force the DNC to show its server as evidence. I would expect this from some wacko like Sheila Jackson. Sad commentary that this is coming from the DNC.

The DNC have to prove that Russian collusion and wikileaks actually changed votes. As of right now everytime I've asked, nobody has claimed that they have changed their minds or votes from Hillary because of this. Not even Comey with his investigations seems to have altered opinions.

Looks like the filthy russians have already hacked your hill link, MrT ... lol.

But damn, looks like a sweet move by Dems

Keep THE HEAT on this illegitimate president and the (likely) treasonous BUMS such as “Guccifer” boy Stone that he surrounded himself with...

Desperation would be a more appropriate word. This is the kind of hair-brain move which could anger enough Republicans to go ahead and grant a second special prosecutor to go after the last administration and look into their corruption. Now that would be FUN.

Why is the DNC interfering with the Mueller inquisition?

You all keep repeating this fail of thinking that everything remotely involving the DNC will require that they turn over the DNC servers.

Well Trump admitted he loves WikiLeaks and if WikiLeaks stole info and leaked it then he is supporting leaking of confidential American information?

    Sounds like a Russian puppet.

The trespass onto their property (via the servers) and the use of the information found therein could be sufficient grounds to survive a motion to dismiss, but maybe not.

Why do you think that submitting the physical server is the only way of proving that the server was hacked nearly two years ago?
