'bob, this isn't the first time something like this has happened. People are told all the time to leave places, the only difference here is that some ******y college snot took a video and people decried the two loiterers as victims. It's not the first time and it won't be the last. Everyone else leaves like they're asked.

I was kicked out of a Buffalo Wild Wings sports bar and grill back in 2006 because my waitresses switched shifts in the middle of me being there. I left a $10 tip for the first one, I put it on the condiment holder so I wouldn't forget to give it to her when she passed by to leave. She was offended because she thought I had it sitting up there as if she was a stripper. Next thing I know, security comes up to me and tells me I need to leave because I was groping on my waitress. You can't be serious, I asked, because I'd been there with my GF and two other couples and they all vouched for me. I was told again to leave, I saw there was no reasoning so we all got our stuff and left. Sh*t happens, and it sucks to be on the wrong end when you've done nothing wrong, but that's life. I didn't cry about it or cause a scene. So all in all, six white people were kicked out by one black security guard. They never got my business again.

 

You are only half right. If that '******y college snot' took the video of some guy smashing the windows and the YouTube views decried the guy a victim because the coppers tossed him into the hoosegow, then I'd agree with you. But hey man ..... two guys sitting on 2 vacant chairs and minding their own business? Have a heart.

Since the CEO of Starbucks has acknowledged the racism and the police have not pressed charges I think your point has been disproven.

I don't disagree with not pressing charges. These men were dumbarses; not criminals. I also agree with the CEOs decision to back down and placate the easily outraged snowflakes. That move saved a lot of time and money. My point is that the only one who knows for sure is the one who asked the men to leave. Unless you can read the employees mind, you are being dishonest.

 

Nope you judge racism by actions. And the CEO shutting down all Starbucks to teach racial sensitivity is about as much an admission as any CEO has issued ever.

Nice try! Find one incident where reputably dressed, well behaved white guys were thrown out of a Starbucks. Just one and you will prove your point. And guess you forgot where the girls used the bathroom without buying anything or the white guy admitted sitting waiting and not buying anything.
