And why should the govt be involved in this transaction? They need to find a trump approved vendor? Because the feds know how to run their business for them?
Maybe the govt should just run all the businesses...:

I didn't necessarily say they should but we should ensure our trading partners are not engaged in unfair trading practices don't you agree especially if it can result in shutting down our equivalent industry so that then they can ramp up prices.

And of course all the print media is going to be opposed and make claims about job losses. They are losing jobs anyway in that market along with coated free sheet for magazines. You know it was the left that went after corporated timber holdings and taxation/depreciations and then all the environmental regulations and restricting federal land use and our woodproducts/paper industry is nowhere near where it used to be.

I love trees. That is why I'm glad this action by Trump will save so many of them.

Actually we grow supertrees down her that grow fast and are very active and use lots of CO2 releasing lots of O2 so we need to harvest the forest.

If you want to start an anti-fracking discussion, by all means do so. This discussion is about Trump saving trees.

There is not one living cell, that wasn't previously a molecule of CO2. "Progressives" are anti-life.

With Earth Day approaching you'd think the tree-hating Left would be applauding this Trumpian blow for the trees. But then the Left does love the Dead Tree Media!

I had no idea “fairness” was such a concern to republicans. What’s unfair about a business entering an agreement with another one? the governments job is to make sure everyone got a “fair” deal??

Fair trade has always been. Dumping goes against our trade agreements.
