There's no other explanation for his popularity. He's connected with folks on illegal immigration.

I really don't care. I believe he'd have the most hardline policies on stopping the flood of illegal immigrants. There's a lot to debate on what to do about those already here. I say close the floodgates, and we can deal with whatever. We're being overrun.

Actually, I don't think Trump is anything poltical.

He's a con man, and he's using the Presidential primary process to build his celebrity, which is his primary product.

He likes to get paid for putting his name on things.

And Wall Street and K Street are worried about him. I would venture to guess that there already have been discussions regarding how much it will cost to make Donald go away.

If his act goes over well in the Fox game show on Thursday, his price will go way up.

Look for Trump projects to pop up all over the place in coming years, all with financial participation from big GOP political donors. That's how he'll collect his go-away money.

Trump isn't interested in being President. He's not taht interested in politics. But he loves celebrity ,and he loves the swag.

And that's about all there is to Donald Trump.

He played the Mexihate card. He played the race card last time around with his "birther" nonsense. And he played the right wing as a permenant underdog card too.

He touched all the nerves in Limbaughlooneyland.

Of course, he has yet to actually stand FOR anything. But the audience doesn't know any better.

Sit back and enjoy it. It's all he has. The lunatic fringe calls other people the lunatic fringe. How lunatic is that? lol

He's FOR securing the border. That's an idea most Americans should be able to get behind. Personally, I'm still a Ben Carson supporter. I think he would also secure the border.

Reagan was a democrat, not necessarily a liberal. Please tell us some liberal positions that Reagan changed to conservative ones?

Can you post without trying to insult?

It means they have the political willpower to actually do something about it. Do you think if either Trump or Carson were elected, neither would try?

I've been around long enough to know that no one talks too specific during this preseason leading up to the primaries; so I'm not concerned about the lack of particulars at this point in the game. You probably understand this as well.

I don't buy the change. There is no evidence that I can find that he was anything but a liberal democrat before Hillary lost the nomination to Obama. Before that point he was giving primarily to dems, and he even supported dems by donating to them in the 2010 elections. I really can't believe that a man past age 60 is going to change his political stripes. (he was 62 when he supposedly became Republican). I just don't buy it one bit. I think he's in the tank for Hillary, and that is his goal--to make sure his friend Hillary gets elected. He does better business wise when dems are in office.

Yeah, situations change. He wants to be president now and will say most anything.

i think thats the point - people are hung up on these issues, but no one is actually going to do anything to support them besides talk
