So the school allows the kids to participate in a walkout but let's an 11 year old go off on his own and now he's dead.

This occurred close to where I once lived and is all over the news since the area where I live now is still in the El Paso media contour.

But the math on this is simple; if the school didn't allow the walkout this 11 year old would have been in class instead of walking across a busy highway.

Hog just claimed his first victim.

It is the parents fault ! If the kid was home schooled he would not be walking out of school so he sound not have been in danger. Furthermore girl teens would not be getting pregnant as much if they do not go to school and meet horny teen boys.

Betsy DeVoss is trying to save the school aged children of America by destroying the public school system. Betsy even has a Big US Government approved chastity belts known as Betsy Belts. These Betsy Belts are guaranteed by the DeVoss Chastity Foundation LLC and made in China for now but soon to be imported from NorKor Inc the new name for North Korea after the Peace Treaty of Khu Chi is signed.

Therefore if American parents home school their kids and keeps their daughters in Betsy Belts they will live long, prosper and reproduce until Betsy says it is ok.

That is my point if the parents home schooled him he would be alive tonight. Also if the parents of Parkland made their daughters wear Betsy Belts and home schooled them the 17 girls who got pregnant this school year would still be virgins tonight.

Hogg didn't kill anyone. This student didn't follow proper pedestrian safety when on a road. It is ok for kids to be outside the house and school and use the roads but they need to have common sense and follow safety rules.

Hogg doesn't have blood on his hands, but the school administration does. The parents left this kid in their care and the school admin allowed an 11 year old to leave on his own. Somebody needs to be fired or tried and convicted.

We should not be delegating parents responsibity to schools.

Let's be honest here the NRA absolutely defends one amendment of the Constitution the 2nd, and defends the first but only if the first is employed to defend the 2nd. So that is selective support and yes that the right of the NRA to defend. The ACLU is not perfect by any means but the ACLU defends an absolutely wider range of the articles of the Constitution.

Should an organization such as the ACLU defend the entire Constitution, well of course. Is that practical that we can get sufficient number of people to agree that the every article of the Constitution deserves and requires constant defense? Practically speaking, no we will never be able to achieve that.

PS Edit add clarification - emphasis on the word requires constant defense in that not all arrivals of the Constitution require constant defense because not all articles are of the nature that they are not subject to interpretation.

Lest we forget the leftist radical anti-gun movement which has created this entire climate of intolerance, boycotts and hatred towards any deviation from their anti-gun orthodoxy.

Not in defense of the school administration most of whom are willing participants, but they are indeed between the rock and the hard place, god forbid they even attempt to prevent a walkout, the amount of dirt, hatred, smear, calls for their resignation will be overwhelming, including from the parents of their students. Perhaps now they will have a valid excuse to stop these idiotic protests.

Are you saying it’s a parent’s responsibility to keep their kids safe at school?

I clicked the “Like” but not because the liberal lid was killed

He should have been in school and the lib educators who let him walk out should be fired

But I do appreciate the fact that Steve brought this incident to our attention

This is also worth highlighting/ repeating. How many of the kids involved in these "walk outs" etc are really protesting, and how many are just happy for an excuse to ditch school....

Why are you viewing the kid as a "liberal" kid? He is a kid who was killed not a liberal or a conservative kid. Is the life of a child worth nothing to you if you view that child to be from a "liberal" state or a "liberal" part of a state or community??

We can ask our liberal member here also if they could care less about a kid if he us perceived to be from a Red state. Yet I need to point out that those liberal guys here have to make a statement as you just did.

We were all kids once so sure we're not happy to get out of school? Up north here when Inwas a kid we were happier than pigs in mud when a snkw storm caused the schools to close. Of course since since I lived within sight of my grammar school sometimes my mom made us walk to the school anyway just to be sure even though we told her repeatedly that " the man on the radio" said no school.

So sure no school is welcomed by all of us kids.

Based on personal observation seen as a public school teacher for decades, I'd say the ones looking for an excuse to ditch are somewhere above the 90 percent range. Probably almost as high a percentage would be kids who don't understand WHY they're out of class, but are happy to leave just the same.

I'd even go so far as to say the teachers that allowed this were also looking for an excuse to not teach the basics that day. I mean - c'mon, we're NOT supposed to be a venue for social change. We're there to teach the basics, the Three R's and suchlike. Last time I looked at my district plans, teaching protesting wasn't on the approved lesson plan list.

And will you still have the same views if this 11 year old regularly skipped school without permission?

It used to be we would protect children, not follow their whims on things like gun policy.

Theres also the fact that protesting is a very weak form of political protest.

The Lefts Childrens Crusade has claimed its first martyr.

    ,

Not doing a very good job of it , are we, they get shot in their schools and then some people think they should just bow their heads and not object !!

Ya, just a "whim" that they object to getting shot....

Well, except for starting a country and getting social justice...but go ahead and ignore that stuff....it was all just a 'whim"...

Oh, cut the melodramatic crap.....kids have been being martyred in every school shooting....

What if this deal of leaving class was for students to do out in the open to face Washington DC and pledge allegence to Trump like his cabinet was forced to do, would that be ok with you ????
