Housing is of course more than 3-5% of gdp, but you are also forgetting, intentionally, that the financial crisis was directly tied to the housing bubble.

Like I said, I know complex economic concepts are hard for you. You can’t even get the basics of government down.

Basic civics. Presidents have the final say on every law, unless co guess has a veto proof majority. It remains the Clinton surplus.

The financials were shored up with TARP which they paid back with interest. The growth during the recovery and subsequent years was broad based and solid and still growing when the Democrats took back power taking both houses of the Congress and started their fiscal insantity.

Yes the Republicans took mostly the proper measures to mitigate the slowdown and recession, shorten it's lengths and get us into full recovery. The Democrats failed with their policies and lack thereof to mitigate the slowdown and recession an we had the Great Recession instead of a typical one and then they couldn't get us into a full recovery. What's your point? Are you now going to embarrass yourself, like with the Bush could have vetoed the Democrats 2009 budget, by claiming government policies do not have effects on the economy?

Again you need more than just that 6th grade civic education you claim beats mine.

Nope. The republican caused recession forced necessary spending increases while having a drop in revenue, in order to save the economy from republican incompetence.

And this is why conservatives should be banned from government. The complete detachment from reality is a danger to national security.

That's not entirely true. There are other reasons I call them Republican'ts.
Like you can't have gay marriage.
You can't have an abortion. etc.

Hillary got about 5 million more votes than Trump. L.A. County alone has over 8 million people. You think that one or two very big populated states should be able to dominate an election over the wishes of the other states? Unlike many Liberals today,, our founding fathers were smart. They knew that everyone should a voice, not just a chosen few states luckey to be big enough to have a lot of citizens. I have no doubt, if it were reversed and the Right had those big states, the Left would be singing a different tune. The majority of the country voted Red.

The Latest Numbers on the Election: Popular Vote, Counties Won
    www.theepochtimes.com/n3/2193047-latest-numbers-on-the-election/
Dec 1, 2016 - While Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by at least 2.5 million votes, Trump won more than 2700 out of 3143 counties across the United ...
That's only 443 counties for Hillary. 2,700 for Trump.

nobody is disputing the fact that trump won WAY more wide open unpopulated spaces than Clinton. The point remains, is the EC is entirely outdated in the 21st century. Having someone the majority of voters DON'T want, goes against everything this country stands for.

Yes, the economy is. We have an all time low unemployment for both Blacks and Hispanics. Obama had a record high number of people on welfare and food stamps.. Trump cut that 1.5 million already. Unemployment is down 4.1% and job openings is up 4.5%. Home ownership is up .2% Economic growth is 3.2%/ Manufacturing jobs is up184,000, after Obama lost over 300,000 during his term in office. Keep in mind he just got those tax cuts in the last quarter of his first year in office. His second year should do much better.

Not out dated at all. One reason we are also a republic and not a democracy. Everyone gets a voice. If all things were equal I could agree with you. But all things aren't close to being equal as far as states go. If you had it your way and the way most Liberals want it, a good 45 states wouldn't have a say on who got elected. About 5 big states would dominate every election. How is that fair?

Yup, Trump won a lot of empty space in the election while losing millions and millions of voters.
