    And if ICE knows they are gang members why did they not inform the California authorities? California law specifically states that gang members are to be held for deportation.

    Wrong according to Homeland Security:

    From October 2016 to June 2017, DHS says, sanctuary jurisdictions refused to honor Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers on 142 suspected gang members -- where ICE officials ask authorities to detain criminal illegal immigrants so ICE can take custody and deport them.

    Because they could have had the person responsible arrested for violating California law. They didn't so apparently either they're trying to cover up their mistake or they are just plain incompetent, you choose.

    They either are lying about informing California authorities or they chose to not have the individuals responsible arrested under California law. Either way, they f*cked up.

    No job, no reason (or means) to stay. A lot of people who come here for the money would self-deport and they wouldn't be taking jobs from people legally entitled to work.

    Joe Average cares about his job be taken more than he cares about crimes illegals commit.

    So then please, by all means refute the truth.

    FACT: the huge majortity of illegals in America came in on legal visa's and then overstayed. This is not a fact you can change no matter how close to the border you lived.

    Fortunately, most people aren't the victim of a crime by illegals.

    We need an effective e-verify program. It's too hard to play catch-and-release with illegals.
