Tsk tsk; Sean Hannity plays by his own rules, it would appear. Faux News, his employer, has much to answer for these days. Turns out Hannity, who rails against "elites", has a private jet and has been snapping up millions of dollars of low-income real estate, while hiding behind shell companies. His official new nickname is "Handout Hannity."

Fox News host Sean Hannity is responding to the "latest fake news attack" against him, playing the victim to claim that he is being vilified for "investing my personal money in communities that badly need such investment."

Despite his frequent rants against liberal or media "elites," an extensive reportfrom The Guardian on Monday revealed that Hannity is linked to numerous shell companies that have spent at least $90 million on nearly 900 properties across the country. Furthermore, belying his supposed conservative principles, Hannity's empire was purchased at a deep discount to him and at a cost to taxpayers."[D]ozens of the properties were bought at a discount in 2013, after banks foreclosed on their previous owners for defaulting on mortgages," the paper reported.

According to public records, the properties were purchased by limited liability companies (LLCs) connected to Hannity in states including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Texas and Vermont. "Hannity is the hidden owner behind some of the shell companies and his attorney did not dispute that he owns all of them," the Guardian reported.

Hannity invested in companies that buy foreclosed homes and those companies participated in a program started by the Obama administration HUD that gave grants on foreclosed homes in certain communities and that grant money is used to renovate those homes there for revitalizing the community those homes are in


so you are against the buying of foreclosed homes renovating those homes so to revitalize communities those homes are in

 

Nobody cares.

Hannity can spend his personal money anyway he wants.

 

So Hannity invest his money to make low cost housing available to the poor and you are going to bitch about it.

I currently live in a hud house. These are properties that are sold in silent bids, as is and most need repairs. Some are auctioned only to people who will live in the home. And some are sold to investers.

Not sure why you are against investing in and improving communities.

 

How much does he deserve? How much do you deserve?

Who decides that, as you have?

 

Can you arrest someone for breaking a law if there was a law broken?
