Pennsylvania golf club apologized after calling police on black women members for playing too slow

And if you are a fivesome or even a foursome and a twosome is behind you playing faster you should do the courteous thing and let them play through.
I bet there is LOTS more to this story.

 

Right back at you. These people paid to be there. They purchased a service and then not only were they denied what they paid for based on what sounds like a pure fabrication but they also had the police called on them.

Hilarious how you’re all hardcore about property rights but don’t give a flying **** about their rights as consumers.

But this is all just a smokescreen for the truth. They weren’t misbehaving or playing to slowly. They dared to golf there while being black, and the owner making his very first move calling the police says it all. As if the wife apologizing or other players corroborating their story that they were playing at a normal pace wasn’t enough already.

In no universe do the cops get called if they were white. Flat, undeniable reality. Obfuscate all you like but you aren’t fooling anyone.

This is a case of blatant racism.

As far as golf goes, any fivesome that is slow is to be told move along or let other groups play through or leave the course. It is called courtesy. It has nothing to do with color of skin or gender. But try telling that to a snowflake.

 

The 'stereotype' of the 'angry black woman' is real. Even black men acknowledge it and generally prefer to date White women when they can.......

Long ago? If 30 years ago is relevant how about 54 years ago? That's when the civil rights act was passed. My dad is older than that by a decade. It wasnt so long ago when a good portion of America didnt want to sit and eat with us, didnt want to go to school with us or even allow us to exercise our right to vote. And it's not as if those laws were met with universal approval. Think all those racists just went away?

 

Anybody on a golf course who doesn't know that the group(s) behind you are right on your tail, probably shouldn't be on a golf course..

Even if it's another foursome behind you, ya gotta let them go by eventually, even if it extends your round ... It's good for them AND it's good for you. I've played through groups and been played through on (Is that a sentence?). Yeah, it's a little embarrassing to be taking doubles (or worse), then watch 4 guys (and gals) stripe it down the middle while playing through, but I figure maybe I was pressing my game because they were pressing me (didn't always work that way, but ya gotta think positive out there)...

Is this racism or sexism, or simply the fallout from a tricky game and the common courtesy rules of golf today?? I dunno... I hope it's just the latter....

Now young white kids are held back in life to make room for a young black person through affirmative action

And some are so brainwashed by liberalism and white guilt that they apoorove of of the treatment

 

If they refuse to comply with the course telling them to let others play through and they get belligerent about it. It can cost the course money and interfere with the other players/customers.

It does seem a cultural thing about following the rules versus "I have a right". Just go watch the handicapped parking at a Wal-Mart or a Target. My mother was blind and later in life had mobility problems finally a wheelchair so it is a pet peeve. I also have an app I use "Parking Mobility" to report violations. I would guess 9 out of 10 of the violations I see are blacks abusing a handicapped parking card. I have no more knowledge of what actually occurred on the gold course but the perhaps the women refused to let a group play through or hurry up their play and did so in a belligerent manner claiming "it's because we are black and we have rights" is not beyond the imagination.

The historical passage of the civil rights act is arguably as close as you can get to being objectively more important than 80's crime stats as you can get without being actually objective. It's like arguing Kanye's new album is more important than WWII because it was more recent.

Asians are the most affected by affirmative action not whites and black representation in ivy league schools is so low that to believe the ones that are there didnt get there through merit is to believe no blacks could get in through merit and if you believe that well what does that say about you? Affirmative action doesn't mean unqualified people are getting accepted into college it means these colleges have to allow at least some qualified blacks to attend because previously they were not. At some point and real soon, because this upcoming generation doesn't care about race at all, black and minority acceptance in these institutions is going to out pace the requirements of affirmative action and then you're really going to be in some trouble. Sad day for you.

I always find it amusing how despite how tough they talk about boot straps, and snowflakes that when the government or society collectively agrees to be slightly less horrible to black people they act like the biggest victims.

 

They are PAID MEMBERS. And unless they've done something warranted, they should not/cannot be kicked out. Playing slowly isn't a reason unless specifically club rules stated otherwise.

Slow play is an issue at every golf course and you are EXPECTED to allow faster groups to play through and not hold up play behind you. There are course marshals at most course to monitor and tell groups to let others play through if they are playing slow.

 

Perhaps the course should have tried this method instead

Then where are the course marshals on this one? Naw...the owner had to be drama queen and called the police. A misused of taxpayers resources which they should be FINED.

 

Some golf courses are pretty hardcore with their rules, including pace-of-play rules. I've seen course officials pull up in golf carts to groups (including mine) to see what was going on, but I can't say I have ever seen the police called. If the women weren't being belligerent, there was no need for the authorities but, having said that, it is not necessarily a race issue and call me crazy, but I don't find it impossible to believe there may have been a confrontation.

I don't that was my clear point and just as much means blacks do it about 4 times more often since whites outnumber blacks about 4 to 1.
