If you really knew how weak your responses are, you'd quit and find a safe space.

The only point that has been proven, is that one is apparently not possessed by yourself.

State precisely what is meant by yourself, and stop playing games.

You do know what they say about people who laugh at their own jokes?

You'll figure it out. Think about it. But here's a big suggestion. Stay on topic.

The ludicrous content of your post was highly amusing but that was obvious, at least it was to me!
    Ironic!

No, I am talking about us, that is more important than the forum per say, we are all intelligent people here, and even if we do not agree, we can at least behave in a civilized manner better than the criminal brutes we both despise.

Which "criminal brutes" are you referring to?

The ones that have long criminal records yet go about society without any regard for human life and promote all manner of Evil.

You are going to have to be more specific because that tells me nothing at all.

    Really ?

You do not know what Criminals
    are ?

Or what respectful Civil discourse without name calling or insults is ?

Or how people that may not agree on certain points, can still agree to be
    polite ?

    Are you being deliberately cryptic?

You used the term "criminal brutes" and alleged that "we both" despise them and yet you cannot explain who you are referring to.

Who is it that I allegedly "despise"?

Maybe I am wrong then, I despise Rapists, people that give Heroin to children and turn them into Prostitots.

People that join Criminal Gangs and shoot at each other often injuring and killing innocent bystanders.

I should perhaps have not included you, as perhaps you do not despise common criminals as much as I do.

How any of this was "cryptic" is beyond me.

It's not. I suspect they being obtuse intentionally. It's a defensive thing, like a verbal fetal position.

I think that any reader who wanted to understood you to mean rapists, muggers, robbers & other cruel individuals who prey on others when you used the term "criminal brutes" in this instance.

On the other hand, I don't view people who have become criminals by way of income tax evasion, drunk driving, marijuana possession etc as the sort of "criminal brutes" to which you were referring.

Briefly put, I don't think that you were being cryptic at all.

Negative emotions only harm the person who is emoting and not the person who is being emoted about. Studies have demonstrated that those who harbor negative emotions are more stressed and actually live shorter lives.

So why should I allow the lowlifes and scumsuckers that power over my own life? Give them a fair trial and lock them away and forget about them.

I reserve my negative emotions for those that harm children and animals. That means that I will go out of my way to call out those that are causing them needless harm. I will stand up and fight for those who cannot defend themselves irrespective of whatever happens to myself.

So that explains why I don't "despise" criminals but I do have the utmost contempt for the NRA because it obstructs sane and reasonable measures that would ensure that children are not harmed by firearms.

We can agree to differ on this point because I prefer to deal with crime as a problem rather than an emotional reaction.

    Uh, yeah, nice Political speech.

I actually did more than talk about it, hence why I went into LE as a choice to do something more productive than complaining.
