Which then begs the question of why we're importing a people who don't seem to understand what the laws of the country are much less the idea that when you enter a new country, you enter into a world with new customs. You say, and correctly so

yet should they not have been educated BEFORE coming here? And in any event, what's the old saying? "When in Rome..." Not to mention "Ignorance of the law is no excuse." I'm sorry, they break the laws in the country they're in, yeah these idiots deserve their time in jail and/or deportation back to their native lands.

Female genital mutilation is already outlawed in the U.S. and is punishable by five years in prison. Maine is no exception.

Are there any credible reports of female genital mutilation being perpetrated in Maine because the federal punishment of 5 years imprisonment is proving inadequate to prevent it?

If a 5 year prison sentence is not a sufficient punishment, why are Trump and Congress not promoting, sponsoring, and enacting legislation that provides for parents being incarcerated for 30 years?

Are Trump and the current Congress promoting female genital mutilation by not legislating much longer accommodations at taxpayer expense?

 

Why can't you tell me why the laws against child abuse, assault, maiming, mutilation, torture, kidnapping, battery don't cover female mutilation?

Do you need to have a ban on starving children until they die? Do you need a specific ban that says you can't chain a child to it's bed??
