Poll Shows Americans Side with Trump over Mueller Probe

A national poll conducted of 1,000 likely voters by McLaughlin & Associates and former Clinton pollster Dick Morris provided exclusively to Breitbart News shows support for President Trump and suspicion of the investigation of Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller.
By a margin of 51 percent to 33 percent, voters do not believe Mueller has found “real evidence of corruption by the president.

More specifically, by a margin of 10 points, 43 percent to 33 percent, voters feel that Mueller has not uncovered any evidence that “President Trump colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 election.”

A plurality of voters, 43 percent to 35 percent, said that Mueller’s investigation has “overstepped its designated purpose to investigate links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Trump by investigating individuals who had nothing to do with Russia.”

The poll also shows that voters are losing patience with Mueller’s probe.

Asked if they think “the investigation being conducted by Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller has gone on for too long and cost too much,” voters agreed by a 20 point margin, 52 percent to 32 percent.

Mueller does not fare well when it comes to voter attitudes regarding the fairness of his investigation.

I'm not a big fan of polls, but I can certainly agree with the part I quoted above.

It's sort of like the boy who cried wolf. We've been overloaded with Russia Russia Russia and Mueller Mueller Mueller for so long now, it's all become a big yawn and an eyeroll. If they ever do find anything, at this point I'm not even sure the average American will care. They're just sick of hearing Russia Russia Russia and Mueller Mueller Mueller.....

If anyone should be screaming about how long Mueller is taking it should be liberals. For over a year they've been told by CNN, MSNBC and others that Trump colluded with the Russians, he's a traitor, he's an illegitimate president, he's a criminal and should be impeached, arrested and sent into exile when his life sentence is up and they have the proof to back it up, it's clear as day in their eyes. So the longer Mueller sits on his hands, the longer Trump can do and say the things liberals really, really hate, like making America America again (not a typo)

When the day comes when Mueller admits he has nothing on Trump the left will probably protest, riot, loot stores and then burn them down. It's the one thing they excel at.

 

And that's why we now see the Dems launching their lawsuits. They know Mueller won't deliver, and know that people are tiring of the Witch Hunt. Time to move to the next thing on their "resistance" list.

I have little doubt if you had polled only democrats, half of them would know nothing about this probe, and the ones that did would be affected with trump hatred, and of course would have not agreed with the conclusion of this poll. So the half that were too busy doing other things, would have to be told about it, and encouraged by the pollster to choose correctly.

Polling is just another tool to try to manufacture consent for one or the other side. Not that hard to see. What polls had trump winning? And that is all anyone needs to know about polls. The same goes for the pundits. Useless as teats on a boar hog folks.

I am very impatient with Mueller's probe as well!

But, unlike Republicans and Trumpers, most liberals and myself believe in the Rule of Law in America, so we wait for the conclusions from the probe.

I am baffled by all these fears by TRUMP and the Trumpies and the Republicans!
