    New string a burglaries are tied to a genius suspect dressed as a firefighter, has photo ID, and drives around with other firefighters. Sources say hes even on their payroll.

    Looked it up, they actually start at around $300,000 and that's just the truck by itself. My point stands. It ain't exactly like throwing a light bar on an old Chevy and painting it black.

    The price varies on your companies specs and who makes it...if it's a Mack or a Seagrave like FDNY has/had with 5 inch front suction, intakes and discharges on both driver and officer sides. Is it a 500 gallon booster tank and does it meet NFPA standards. Or is it a cheaper model like a Spartan or an American LaFrance which when ready for service are about 800k....

    What is the point. .what's the difference and the argument trying to be made if the truck was 300k or multi millions
