ALL rational people know you NEVER imprison children with adults REGARDLESS of the reason the adults are locked up and EVEN if they are the parents. The dangers of putting juveniles with adults - even only juveniles - is so great that the courts outlawed doing so.

That's a very strong statement to make. People who study ethics have long had a really hard time coming up with universal principles of right and wrong, which is why we have religions. That big father figure in the sky is just a way to get everybody in a society on the same page so that they aren't constantly killing each other. So for example, if you like to eat pork while I think pork eaters are disgusting non-humans and we're neighbors, we're going to have some problems somewhere down the line when I smell the disgusting aroma of pork being cooked on your hibachi.

Yet you have found a work around to that father figure in the sky. What universal principles of morality have you found, and how?

I think they have found Christian principles not knowing that they are Christian principles because they have no understanding of the process of history. They take those principals for granted just like they take their language for granted without knowing where it came from. What failed parent does not wish they had taught their kids to love and fear a father figure in the sky? What person does not wonder if his desire to do the right thing came from God. Sorry but believing in a big bad father god in the sky be it a Geek/Roman god or a Christian/Jewish/Muslim god give the priesthood and those who control the priesthood a lot of power but it does not set up morals.

What moral we have is from being pack animals who need to act within limits toward each other for the pack to exist successfully.

Sorry but as an atheist my moral code is at least the equal of any christian that had ever live.
