And men have their fists and their wits. Those aren't arms and neither is tusks or antlers.

We'd all be better off with a plant-based diet. Emissions from cows and other animals are a major contributor to climate change.

The shark would eat him but he wouldn't use a manufactured object to do it. It's survival of the fittest. Without our weapons I suspect we would still be able to hold our own in the animal kingdom on equal ground. We would survive on our wits (including a mastery of fire), which was how we did it back in the day before the iron age.

You think if a shark COULD manufacture a better tool for killing and eating he wouldnt? Our tool use is a number 1 natural ability. That is why we eat more sharks then sharks eating us. You are being silly.

Could be worse, the abortion doctors were selling their trophies for sports car money. Glad the hammerhead gets the sympathy though.

Do you understand that the animals are in captivity, raised by human hands then a 22 bullet is put in their brain??? Farmers do rassle with their livestock. I have helped wrassle yearling hogs for castration. Try getting an understanding of life and things.

So, the question is, why does it matter? Do you think the shark cares?

God gave humans dominion over animals and plants. Is that a good excuse?

Ron like everyone here has a right to his opinion. If you consider him to be wrong then post something in response. Just like everyone else does.

I've only caught baby sharks in the san francisco bay. I have, however, seen other guys bring in some three footers. And yes, you do eat them. Not the babies, of course, but a three footer can be chopped into filets and thrown on the hibachi.

Or we can ask why this rather bizarre thread was created...

And it is bizarre. There was no attempt to explain why taking a picture of such a magnificent catch is bad, and honestly, that lack of any in-depth thinking on the part of my friends on the left when complaining about anything is as predictable as a politician offering "hearts and prayers" whenever there's another school shooting in a supposedly gun free school zone.

It's okay. Nobody needs to explain the thought process going on behind every post. They can simply post their opinion and leave it as an opinion.

Why would we expect anything else?

Animals have no honor. They are not sapient and incapable of such abstract notions as honor.

Its us humans that extend "honor" to animals. That is the catch of a lifetime or two and honor the animal is exactly what the fisherman tried to do.

you should look before you leap.
