I don't give a rat's ass whether a Democrat, Republican or better yet an Independent in there. Rampant partisanism rages from both sides of this political climate and both sides are hyperbolic and full of crap. However I do not see this investigation into the Russian spies and mobsters as a witch hunt at all nor a direct attack on Trump and his presidency.

That said, I certainly do not appreciate it when partisan hacks and the president himself call Decorated Marine Combat veterans like Bob Mueller or well respected career prosecutors like Rod Rosenstein traitors or deep state operatives. Hopefully Trump will keep his big ignorant mouth shut about that and go about doing his job until he is cleared of any wrongdoing. Neither the FBI nor the DOJ have accused him of any crimes at this point.

He seems to have surrounded himself with some pretty shady people either knowingly or unwittingly and that is why this investigation is being conducted. Hopefully he will be cleared and finish his term successfully. I would hate to have to say "President Pence" anytime before I die. I'll take a blowhard pu$$y hound like Trump over a goody two shoes religious nut bag pile of mush like Pence anytime. If he cleared is and he does finish his first term successfully, he will have a great chance of reelection especially if the economy continues on it's present path. However, I think his mouth can be his worst enemy at times. Cheers

Hmmmm . . . did Bill Clinton or Barack Obama ever wear a military uniform? Why no; no they didn't. But our leftists CHEERED their obvious cowardice.

Aye, and it also helps that apparently the average leftist has become a nation-hater and so again there is no downside to putting one's nation at risk for leftist politics.

Yes, I know, but our leftists pretend that it never happened.

One draft dodger doesn't excuse another. Keep saluting Col. Bone Spur.

Such schools are no cake walk -- not like Obama being a doper in school -- there is real discipline and real consequences for actions. Most leftists couldn't handle the discipline or the structured regimen. But then again, that is obvious.

Really? I guess that IS the leftist fantasy about situations involving discipline, hard work, and personal responsibility. But then again, it's not as if most of them would know.

No, that's the fact of Col. Bone Spur's youth. When the time came to put his ass on the line for god and country he ran. Just like he did in Helsinki.

    ~ Russia Derangement Syndrome ~

    Laughable.

You want to know what real RDS is? Just look up some of my previous posts on right wing hero Senator Joseph McCarthy. That delusional alcoholic imagined that there was a commie under every bed and that the communist party was in control of every institution in the USA including the John Birch Society. That idiot, along with many of his fellow right wing pals, even thought that Eisenhower was a commie dupe!

Such stupidity was so pervasive in our society that as school children we were forced to do those incredibly stupid duck-and-cover drills. That is about as deranged as it can get.

In addition to the examples listed in the article was the Libyan debacle and the lies that were told to the Russians. They were told that the military operation would be a no-fly zone only, and so Russia trusted us and abstained in the U.N. Security Council vote when they could have vetoed.

And what did we do? It wasn't just a no-fly zone. As Hillary would later say about Gaddafi: "We came, we saw, he died. Hahahahaha!"

And then we took a side in a purely Syrian civil war, a country that hosts a Russian naval base and which has had friendly relations with Russia for a long, long time. And, we didn't just take a diplomatic side. No. We armed and trained a side. Just imagine how the U.S. would react if Russia were to arm and train rebels in any of our long time allies' countries where we have a military base!

"America's Russia Derangement Syndrome" (RDS) is a good title.

And here's the truth .... The people in Washington (the politicians and media) know better. They aren't as deranged as they sound. Their derangement is an act, and it's all politics. It's ordinary American voters who get taken in by all this hogwash that I find disappointing. There is, unfortunately, a very, very large proportion of Americans who really are truly ignorant about politics and history. Sadly, most of them could not point to the area on a map of the U.S. where Washington, D.C. is. They could not correctly answer a multiple choice question on the 3 branches of government. Sad, but true.

I served and was called a draft dodger because I avoided the draft and enlisted.

Democrat leftist would call reservist and Guardsmen draft dodgers during the 60's, 70's and 80's.

From 1965 to 1973, 10 million males of military age, 40% served.

How many are serving today ? Less than 5 %

I went through the draft classification medicals and was surprised how many high school; jocks (mostly football) were classified as 4-F because bad elbows, bad knees and bone spurs,

Funny that those who never served during the Vietnam War still pass judgment...

Is it your understanding that Communism was just a benign political movement where everything would be shared equally, and that people would be happy to do it?

'Communism'? What's that? Oh yes, I remember - it used to be the method of government in the USSR.

It still is in some areas of the world. But because the poster mentioned Joe McCarthy I referred to that period and prior.

You mentioned a problem as though you have some inside information as to what the problem was. You mean you were just talking rubbish with no knowledge of any 'problem'? His father is deceased.

No, you're talking rubbish without any knowledge. I said he was sent to a school for problem kids, and he was. As to Trumps particular problem, he was an a$$hole and his father didn't want him around.
