    I love dogs and all, but baton that beast until it's unconscious then have it euthanized, then fire its handler for standing around like a fcking moron.

    Cop was negligent and should have shot the dog.

    If American State Governments can't train their police to stop attacking unarmed blacks, what chance do they have training dogs?

    Most cops are racists? Prove it. Blacks have lower IQs than whites or Asians, perhaps that's why find themselves in situations where a dog has to literally disarm them.

    Some people are not at all ashame it would seems of using the results of IQ tests adjusted for Whites to sell the idea that blacks are not as bright as their former slave masters.

    Love to see both Trump and Obama IQ numbers to see who is brighter.

    Anyone would like to try to sell the idea that Trump is brighter in IQ measurements?

    You know the man who does not even read and the only book he is said to had written was in fact written by a ghost writer who share my low opinion of Trump.

    The jurisdiction is going to be paying a lot out. Clearly the dog was not trained properly. It just shows what happens when a testosterone fueled group - police, suspects, and dogs - get going. It is not the dog's fault it was not properly trained. Sadly, so many policing departments around the country see confronting suspects as a war. And too often brown skin is accepted as prima facia evidence that someone is a suspect by too many police and sheriff departments.

    Departments need to view their job as to police society, not to go out and engage in a shoot-em up. The problem is at the top; it should not be blamed on the policemen and policewomen on the beat.

    A 17-year old is a kid? It was a police dog and doing what it was trained to do, and the 17-year old 'kid' should have known better than to steal a vehicle. Serves him right.

    I don't know anything about the specifics of this case, but I got bitten quite badly on my leg by an Alaskan Malumite or whatever they're called. ****ing vicious things.

    I would have demanded to have it put down, but it was the family dog of two young girls and I thought it sufficient to make their parents pay for my medical bills and training for the dog. The girls won't forget that one.

    Dogs aren't fully controllable. They're not like a trigger on a gun or tazer, they may go off without any good reason at any point. Always keep this in mind.

    I don't think it would have been a good idea to start bringing guns out and firing them in that situation. The dog absolutely should be euthanized but if he took out his gun and started shooting somebody could have died.

    there isn't really a big issue with police attacking unarmed blacks.

    I am glad this happened to the kid -- anyone who steals should have this happen.

    Unless of course, its the white collar kind of stealing -- then a large fine should suffice.
