When they had a chance to convict Clinton on impeachment -- (for something far less) -- they couldn't convict him and the whole Whitewater investigation backfired heavily on Republicans.

Republicans will keep on attacking the DOJ and FBI and muddying the water in an effort to discredit whatever comes out of the investigation -- they can have evidence of Putin and Trump plotting a terrorist attack on San Francisco -- and Trump supporters will support it by saying "big deal, its just a bunch of libs and gays there"

Yes, Trump still has 80% support from republicans, but 6% of republicans no longer identify as republicans.

 

It's a minor campaign finance law violation. But again John Edwards was charged and prosecuted and was found not guilty on the one charge and hung jury on 5 others. The prosecutors did not refile. And he had paid her millions. It is not unreasonable to assume that had he not been running and this woman pressed him for money had would have paid her off. Because he is running doesn't mean he can't pay to her to quiet. So a campaign violation is unlikely to be upheld and this would be a FEC matter anyway not a special prosecutor matter so why is Mueller involved? Mueller is supposed to be investigating RUSSIAN COLLUSION and getting to a conclusion on that matter why is he messing around in Trump's prior PRIVATE life? Is this Playboy model a Russian spy?

 

A few years ago there was a mayor in Waterbury CT who was being investigated by the Feds for corruption. During that investigation it was found out that he was having sex with a 10 and a 12 year old girl who were nieces of this mayor 's prostitute friend. He is still serving the balance of a 37 or 38 year sentence on child sex charges. Not sure what happened with the corruption charges.

So should have the Feds ignored the pedophile activities of this mayor?

The balance of power belongs to the independants. They were the ones who had Trump elected by a tiny majority in 5 states.

And the independents are dissatisfied with Trump by 65%....

 

the black votes really counts too, traditionally they did not turn out in large numbers, but when they do as we saw with Roy Moore and Obama, they can change elections

in a country divided 50\50, any new voting block has a lot of power, many blacks did not vote in 2016, but after Trump won, I think they will be sure to vote against him in 2020, at least I am hoping, we need everyone to vote, don't assume Trump can't win again, we already made that mistake once, let's not repeat it

2018, we can vote to at least put in place a congress to reign Trump in, we may not move forward for 2 years, but at least the country wont be moving backwards, in November, people need to get out and vote

 

But the dems need to be careful, they are softly against him.

Davis worked for former Trump aide Roger Stone for a decade, and had numerous interactions with Stone and Andrew Miller -- who ran Davis' campaign for Governor and who was subpoenaed by Mueller a month ago.
