    This poll shows that this country is truly divided down partisan lines.

    Democrats think this was a total screw up and Republicans see this as just a hick up.

    It looks as though Independents were not happy with this performance.

    I'd REALLY like to meet the 8% of Democrats who would admit they approved of anything they saw at Helsinki last week... thats an amazingly high number to me...

    That is the REAL reason Trump voting Democrats hide their attitude toward Trump. The number of sane, Trump voting Democrats is much higher: they just REALLY do not want to meet with these Democrats who REALLY like to met with them.

    Let's see now; the blatantly leftist allied MSM spent a couple of weeks leading up to the meeting stating that Trump would screw up and then speculated all the possible forms that the screw-up might take. With Obama it was always the exact opposite in that they ONLY ever talked about how great things would go for him and then speculated the various possibilities of greatness. Oh and if you didn't agree with their assessment then you were auto-labeled a racist.

    So after a few weeks of preparatory leftist propaganda passed along as both 'news' and 'facts' the Left's collective MSM automatically labeled EVERYTHING that happened as a screw-up in the works and then now leftists are going to present propaganda polluted polling data to support their propaganda efforts; oh and imply that anyone disagreeing with those assessments are deplorables? There are reasons why the Left has steadily been losing political power since 2010.

    Surprisingly, there’s no real drumbeat and no proclamations of assured House and the Senate takeovers, at least not yet... talks of impeachment calmed down it’s just Trump, Trump, Trump... with little more than 3 months left till elections, what are Dems up to? Will vilifying Trump do the trick for Libs?

    Basically the Left's leadership and their MSM operatives are reduced to Hoping for Change by way of a SERIES of election week miracles because despite -- for instance -- this concerted and sustained propaganda blitz of their to 'get' Trump via his televised meeting with Putin the results amount to a minor polling blip, temporary in nature, and one that Trump could easily make go away with a series of well timed tweets concerning whatever.

    Thus they are reduced to hoping for a perfect storm of last minute political bad news for Trump to sway non-leftist voters whom to this date have not really been moved much or for long by their various propaganda blitzes. So it goes.

    After watching the press conference from Helsinki, and after a failed summit with Kim Jong Un, the negative numbers should be much higher. What is there to like? He gave away exactly what Kim wanted and got nothing in return. Kim picked potatoes and wouldn't meet with the US Secretary of State and now doesn't answer our calls. Then Trump embarrassed the US on the international stage, while Putin strutted. Trump has applied simple solutions to very complex issues and seems surprised that they didn't work. He's in way over his head, doesn't prepare thinking he can go with his gut, and doesn't take advice from experts. How can 33% approve?

    It should have been off the charts negative for the guy that delivered to Putin what Monica gave to Bill and what the right wing vilified them for. Anything less than 100% acknowledgment of what a traitor and Putin puppet Trump is, is inexcusable and sad proof of the dumbing-down of the USA.
