    Guarantee - the moment when blacks start to use stand-your-ground to defend themselves against whites, that's when the law will be repealed.

    Alternate scenario. Boyfriend exits store, realizes that he shouldn't have parked in the handicapped spot, says "Sorry about that, let me move the car" and everyone goes home alive and happy.

    You could be right because gun laws have always been intended to disarm blacks and poor whites. I know that is probably hard for libs to grasp but do a little research on the subject.

    Yeah without a doubt people are becoming ridiculously angry and unhinged. Total lack of consideration for others anymore. Not sure if its mostly due to bad parenting, the vitriol in the news, or a mixture of both but everyone needs to step back and take a breath before acting out stupidly.

    First of all, I am confused as to why some think this is a racial incident. What I saw was a man in a non threating way speaking with someone in an auto. He was attacked by another man who was obviously physically superior. This attack also had all the looks of a cheap shot at someone who was not expecting an attack. The attacking man then grabbed his waistband or pockets while the other man pulled a gun. After being shoved to the pavement with that great of force without provocation and seeing the perpetrator reaching for his pocket or waistband could easily be seen as an assailant going for a weapon. I see the shooting as sad but justifiable.

    Actually, it is often right wingers who fail to see that. By the way, for those who continue to insist that I am some kind of "liberal" all they need to do is to read my posts which categorically state that the way to solve racist police crimes against blacks/minorities is to disarm the cops and to arm the people. Thus, I, more than anyone else on this forum, have openly affirmed the 2d Amendment rights more than anyone here.

    Go to you tube to see how many videos they have of white cops stopping blacks to hassle them over open carry. That is one of many tactics used by cops to disarm and to intimidate blacks. Case in point: Philando Castile who was murdered in the Twin Cities by a cop.

    If that's what you want to believe, so be it. After all, there are plenty of white cops who are aggressors as has been documented on this forum innumerable times. But who knows - mebbe we'll see one such instance of that soon.

    So what you are saying is that to find a significant contribution to white vs. black SYG cases, where the attacker was white, you have to go to the Police to find it?

    There is no significant element of the white populace preying upon blacks to the point where blacks are shooting them in self defense?

    Or that blacks never use guns in Florida, maybe you are calling them stupid for not using the law?

    Being on the ground could an elderly man fight off the younger guys and his friend? Part of self defense is being able to retreat. An elderly person could not which would cause a "reasonable fear of his life". Besides there was no audio, if the thug said he was going to kill the old man....there it is.

    And I've already shown evidence of people being shoved to the ground who have died by hitting their head.

    This was a full blown assault and the shooting was justified.
