I always get a kick from these RW posts raving about how hateful Dems are.

It's almost as if the OP author cannot see the rank hypocrisy in his own hate-filled rant.

 

I've voted Democrat in the past but I can't get aboard this identity politics anti-hate speech train that's left the DNC station. The discussion of ideas between folks with different points of view is supposed to be civil and respectful (i.e. agree to disagree) but that's not how it is.

Sure there is some of that intolerance on the right, but it's worse on the left and the media is going along with it.

 

There is an awful lot of personal dislike here. Trump is a mover and shaker, a person driven to accomplish. Most of the liberals and democrats are just the opposite; they like to sit around and talk about ideas that are short-term patches and long term disasters- and most importantly, pay for them with somebody else's money. When someone starts talking action and accountability, you have hit some tender spots. It's not necessarily that it hits them personally, but that the whole atmosphere of favoring those things is uncomfortable; it threatens the idea of blaming everything on someone else and demanding they pay the bills.

The breakdown in self-respect seem to be contagious- we are seeing things that would never have been tolerated even 20 years ago. A couple days ago, a woman saw a Trump sticker on another car, and rammed it with her own car to express her hostility. That's the kind of crap that happens when you promote both unbridled hate and personal irresponsibility. It will no doubt get worse before it gets better; we are dealing with people who reject the idea that they are the ones responsible for their own behavior- very much like small, spoiled children do.

It is embarrassing to me to know that people in other countries are seeing this behavior too, and wondering why we are tolerating it or thinking America has lost it's mojo and marbles.

 

No, I couldn’t be prouder to be a Dem right now. Trump has hijacked the Republican Party and turned it into a international laughing stock. To be a Democrat is not to hate people who don’t think like you. It’s to stand for America having dignity and maturity, to recognize human rights and see Russia as our enemy. I can see the 2020 slogan:

“Make America Respected Again”
Trump stole Reagan’s 1980 slogan, we can twist his.

 

Again just read the posts from the far left here. They are filled with lies and hate spewed at our President, Christians, conservatives, and anyone that voted for President Trump.

 

To the contrary, the international community is happy to have the leadership of an American president again. One that says American first and doesnt run around the globe apologizing for the US. Obama was a gutless wonder that was a world wide joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
