You are obviously referring to when, late 1800s, the Republican party was formed with progressives. Conversely the Dems were made up of conservatives back then. This of course changed over time with now the Repub party being made up of conservatives while the Dem party is now Lib/Prog.

I appreciate the question but it does not say the party name. When I vote, my ballots do not call voters such names such as liberal or conservative.

I would doubt Democrats will have guns crushed or melted. I suppose many Democrats do talk the talk but do not walk the walk. Other Democrats have no use of guns so have nothing to give up.

Borders do not amount to doors. Even the most secure border can be crossed. We want the wall to severely limit the successful crossings. At least with a border the system has a chance to be improved. Drones can patrol a border.

I really want my gun and my gun rights as a part of the overall concept called freedom. My gun has never fired at humans that I am aware of. Of course it was first seen by me in the possession of my step father. I traced the gun back to the factory and do not know of any human the gun is accused of shooting at. This gun however did kill a farm animal since i saw it take place. Dad said prior to his passing the gun also killed an Elk. Dad says it killed a Deer or more. I expect it killed racoons since Dad trapped them on his property.

So i have nothing at all against the gun.

 

Liberals don't want a "gun free America". They want an America where there's more sensible control over who can purchase a gun and who can't.

No liberal I've met wants "open borders" in America, including myself. We want successful controls against illegal immigration, same as you, but without the heartless cruelty of separation of infants & children from their parents that can and will result in unnecessary creation of orphans that become wards of the state--the AMERICAN STATE--and paid for by me & you!

Besides, if you want a "sane" gun policy, talk to your governor. If you want a "sane" immigration policy, talk to your representatives and tell them what exactly you mean by "sane". Just realize that we see what progs want and think it's insane.
