I hope he takes their hide..... https://www.cbsnews.com/news/baker-who-won-in-supreme-court-sues-colorado/
It's more important that Colorado get's tax money from loser stoners than protecting people's rights.
You ain't lying...it's about time the LGBT Gaystapo Attack Squad and its enablers FACED SOME CONSEQUENCES for their UTTER DISREGARD for the RIGHTS OF OTHER AMERICANS ...
As an aside, the groups libs pander to the most are the ones who have the biggest Jones against gays, they being blacks, Latinos and Muslims.
I just cannot believe that he is involved in a SECOND legal battle in a totally new case. This time trans-gender. The US is a pile of sh*t. FREEDOM? Yeah, MY ASS!
The liberal members of the commission who voted to deny his constitutional rights should be held personally liable rather than the taxpyers in colorado
A few more details for those who defend Colorado. You can’t make this up. If this is not a attempt to destroy a man based on his religious beliefs then I am at a loss..... http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2018...refusing-to-make-transgender-themed-cake.html
Sour grapes for Colorado which got SLAMMED by the Supreme Court for its joke of a Civil Rights Commission.
The most statistically prominent groups that are against gay people are evangelicals, individuals with less than a high school education and those over 65 years old (oh and Alabama). All Republican groupies. All other groups have plurality support for gay rights. So your “aside” is factually incorrect, according to polling at least.
How do you figure? Their ruling limits itself to the particular circumstances only and explicitly does not set precedent for all future cases. They barely got a slap on the wrist.
Black people employed similar tactics to eliminate facilities that refused services to them. People will only take so much before they start to fight back... Not saying that I believe the baker should be forced to bake anything (I’m against involuntary servitude as a practice) but what part of his religion does a transitioning cake violate? I’m by no means a biblical scholar but to my knowledge the Bible says nothing about trans people. If you don’t want to serve someone it should be your right not to do so - no need to involve whatever sky diety you claim to worship.
Why would it have been a more significant indictment against the Commission if the Supreme Court set precedent for all future cases?
WTF are you on about? People have the right to put whatever in the hell they want into their own body! Who the fvck are YOU (in this case YOU == government. Remember when conservatives where for small government? Yeah me either) to say otherwise?
Oh FFS are we really doing this again? Leave this guy alone! He’s baking custom cakes, not growing staple foodstuffs necessary for survival. This is clearly a targeted attack and THIS is the kind of **** that fuels conservative attacks. This is progressivism run amok. This is the “gay agenda” that the LGBT community pretends is just a myth. People may not choose to have gender identity crises or have gay orientations, but they do choose to do things like have sex change operations or marry their gay lover. No one should be forced to honor, celebrate, or make special products for other people’s weird life choices.
Decisions to get a sex change or marry someone of the same sex should not be put into the same category as being black. No one chose to be black.
Except Rachel Dolezal But wtf, people want a cake to celebrate gender transitioning? You can't make up sh*t this stupid....
Hey great another case that the supreme court will rule against lefties on and shield future bakers against leftist attackers. Lets face it, this tranny went there looking for a court case, not a cake. Frign freakshow.
I'd simply ask the left this. If, as a citizen, I can force someone to violate their deeply held religious beliefs, can I also demand, as a citizen, that I can force someone to violate their deeply held political beliefs? Could I, as a citizen, for example, demand that the NAACP start doing work, on my behalf even though I am not a colored person? Could I, as a citizen, demand that the NOW start campaigning against abortion and expect them to do so, even though it is against their deeply held moral beliefs? Should I be able to take both organizations to court to demand that they respect and work towards my goals, even though it offends them to do so? Should I be able to find a friendly state, codify into law a review group that enforces my deeply held political beliefs? I believe this is what the State of Colorado has done. I don't see a difference between them attacking a citizen/business in court forcing said person/business to violate their constitutionally held privileges or rights to be any different.
next up, pedophiles and convicted murderers will demand a cake and he'll again be targeted by the liberal state
What difference does it make if it's a deeply held belief? I'm the owner of my labor and I get to say to who I'll sell it to. Full stop.
I agree, but that wasn't the point. The question is whether I can use government to force others to overcome their ability to deny their labor. And since the left are the ones asserting this, I was asking them for their limits.
