Kim Jong Un has enslaved and starved his people, has gulags imprisoning a 100,000 or more, guilty of murdering members of his own family, and he has threaten American cities with a nuclear holocaust.

Right, Trump is giving him a chance, then another chance, and another chance.

That's kinda my point. You don't give communist dictators like Kim a chance. You isolate them and squeeze them until they squeal. Then talk about agreements, not before. Also, why is our President the lead diplomat? We have highly trained diplomats who can do the leg work.

Wheee! I didn't ask you why you voted for him. I asked why you support him, present tense.

    You don't know, do you?

Read the post again. I didn't say he was violating man's laws with his affairs.

Trump's reaction to the harsh realities of last week makes no sense. It is almost as if he lives in a world all his own. He is either very dense.

Or, he doesn't care and wants to be impeached because he has lost all interest in his job. This would account for his moronic statements and tweets that either make him look foolish or they incriminate him. This would account for the fact that he has incriminated himself several times in the past few months. So has his lawyer, Giuliani. It would account for the fact that he can't keep his mouth shut. This would account for the bizarre attack on his own A.G. whom he appointed. It would account for the fact that he is calling for investigations of the President we had nineteen months ago, an aged woman who retired from politics 22 months ago, and FBI agents who left the bureau months ago. With the exception of Obama, all have been adjudicated. In the case of Obama, there was nothing to adjudicate despite Trump's wild imagination.

The statements show a remarkable ignorance of the law. This from the chief law enforcement official. They also show complete ignorance of evidence that has been publicized that contravenes his statements, illustrating that he lives in his own little world.

His statements and tweets are born of sheer desperation as his world is closing in on him. Were it not for the seriousness of the matter, they border on the comical.

That's true. I can't be certain how Trump feels. That was opinion ... obviously. However, it was based on Trump's actions, statements, and tweets. You may call it garbage, but it is fair to draw conclusions based on what Trump does and says. You did not question the actions, statements, and tweets upon which I based my opinion.

That is all a part of our First Amendment rights. It is also fair to conclude that Trump and his fans wish to discourage the right of free speech.

"The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!" -Donald J. Trump

Trump told a crowd of veterans "Don't believe the crap you hear from these people -- the fake news. What you're seeing and what you're reading is not what's happening."

That's not how global politics works. Kim is the unquestioned leader of a country with nuclear weapons, we have to deal with him. Otherwise we risk war and one of our closest allies will be the battlefield.

This really is a good example of the bias the left and media have for the right. Obama makes a horrible deal, giving billions to a country that is responsible for killing hundreds of American soldiers, biggest exporter of terrorism, and our biggest regional enemy and they all praise him. They even bury all the negative facts about Iran to make it look good. But Trump tries to meet Kim and everyone on the left has a stroke.

The Iran nuclear agreement, or JCPOA, was just that. It involved Iran's nuclear capacity and it permanently banned Iran from making a nuclear bomb. Trump trashed the agreement, and now Iran is free to proceed with nuclear development if she so chooses. Trump replaced a working agreement with harsh language, meaning his meaningless threats.

You should pay closer attention to what I say, and what I say has absolutely nothing to do with the left. No one is discouraging talks with North Korea. However, it is a mistake when the President becomes the lead diplomat. We have people who can do the leg work. The President should enter into the discussions only after agreements have been made. Having the President acting as the point man can lead to disaster, as it did in the case of Singapore and its aftermath.

Also, we do not need our President groveling to a communist dictator. Trump said that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un -- the man he once mocked as "Little Rocket Man" -- "has really been very open and I think very honorable based on what we are seeing."

Or, "This is a smart guy, a great negotiator, but I think we understand each other."

"I think we've done something very historic already," Trump said.

    Sheesh!

Apparently, after long last and countless negative posts, you have finally figured out one of the key reasons why Trump supporters voted for, and stick with him. He gives the middle finger to the establishment and they have needed that treatment for a very, very long time.

Although it has been explained to you many times it still took you over eighteen months to grasp that fact and many of us here would be pleased if you passed it along to more of the usual suspects who are at this very minute scouring the internet for more anti-Trump nothingburgers to create another unneeded hate filled thread.
    Thank you for your contribution.

And thank you for accepting my article without question. Of course, you never do question my statements. You only question me for writing them.

The Truth Shall Set You Free.

I love this. I have heard variations of this reasoning from Trump's fans for months. In other words, according to Trump's followers, it is perfectly okay for Trump to act like a complete jerk because he is giving the finger to the establishment.

I know that is how his admirers think. I am surprised they admit it.

You've been hearing about this for months, but are just now being surprised?

He's been flipping the lot of you the finger all this time, and you're just now figuring this out?

Of course Trump doesn't want Russia in the news. But it's a two edged sword for dems. IF the dems actually controlled the media - NO BIG BEAUTIFUL healthcare plan (there never was one), NO the rich did not get a tax hike, NO wages are not up with profits
What Trump and Sanders sold to the disaffected isn't addressed. The economy is essentially the DNC/gop establishment. And Trump never planned to do anything else. He fuked his voters. And those of us who are mainline republicans can choose to accept his lack of any human decency in exchange for bon temps roulez

I don't think he means to. His primary motivator is generating attention for himself in any way he can. The controversy just follows as a result of his poor choices in that regard.

They really feel they are above the law. They feel the law can't touch them.

Which explains why Trump incriminates himself nearly every day. He just did it again today when he fired McGahn. He drove McGahn straight into the waiting arms of Mueller. How stupid can one be?

This link validates your statement. https://www.npr.org/2018/08/28/6424...falsifying-permits-michael-cohen-also-accused

Also under scrutiny is an investment group led by Trump's former attorney, Michael Cohen. The New York Times reported that Cohen's business allegedly submitted false construction permits for three Manhattan properties. In each instance, according to a report by the Housing Rights Initiative, the Cohen group reported buildings "were vacant or without rent-regulated tenants, when they were occupied and many of the tenants had rental protections."

Concerning one building in the Lower East Side, the Times reported:

"At 172 Rivington Street, for example, the Cohen group indicated that there were no rent-regulated tenants in the 20-unit building, after the company purchased it in October 2011 for $2.1 million. But records indicated that there were 19 protected tenants there, but only 11 remained after the Cohen group sold the building three years later for $10 million."

In July, a group of current and former rent-stabilized tenants in one of the Kushner Cos.' Williamsburg, Brooklyn, developments, filed a lawsuit claiming they were deliberately exposed to toxic smoke and other unsafe conditions. They argue it was to get them to move out so the apartments could be sold as high-price condos.

Shortly after the lawsuit was filed, NPR reported New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo launched an investigation into the business practices of the Kushner Cos. That investigation is ongoing.

Funny, you dislike Trump so much but I'm certain you sit here and think about him more than most of us.

I disagree. He purposely creates controversies. He enjoys them because he needs to be the center of attention.

His fans enjoy his stupid comments, too. They delight in the idea that Trump is giving the finger to liberals. The more stupid, the better. "Its a question that they [Democrats] will overturn everything that we have done and they will do it quickly and violently. And violently." One can't get more stupid than that.

Keep something in mind. Everything Trump does and says is for his gullible base. He is making no attempt to broaden his support. In fact, to please his base, it can be argued he discourages any attempts to broaden his base.

Come November, we will see how that works for him.

No doubt about it. Everyday Trump offers us more infantile distractions and deceptions. He throws a bunch of shyt against the wall hoping something will stick. An illustration of that is this morning in the form of still another twitter storm and his comments to Bloomberg. None of this deserves any more than a passing glance by observers. He has done this so many times before, and it is all quite meaningless. His diatribe today, not unlike the others, is meant solely for his base. No one else could possibly believe it.

"The hatred and extreme bias of me by @CNN has clouded their thinking and made them unable to function," he tweeted. "When Lester Holt got caught fudging my tape on Russia, they were hurt badly!" Trump added.

"I just cannot state strongly enough how totally dishonest much of the Media is. Truth doesn’t matter to them, they only have their hatred & agenda. Enemy of the People!" Truth doesn’t matter to them, from Trump?!? You got to be kidding me! Regarding the free press as the enemy of the people has become a common theme with him. Hard to accept this is from our President.

"They love to portray chaos in the White House when they know that chaos doesn’t exist-just a “smooth running machine” with changing parts!" The “smooth running machine” was on full display Monday when the White House bungled the flag tribute for Senator McCain. The American people were collectively embarrassed and no doubt Putin, Kim, and China's Xi were laughing their fool heads off at the debacle.

"Wow, Nellie Ohr, Bruce Ohr’s wife, is a Russia expert who is fluent in Russian. She worked for Fusion GPS where she was paid a lot." Yawn.

"The Rigged Russia Witch Hunt did not come into play, even a little bit, with respect to my decision on Don McGahn!" McGahn gave Mueller 30 hours of testimony.

Trump said his maligned attorney general is safe in his job ... at least until November. Trump made the comment in an interview with Bloomberg News.

"I just would love to have him do a great job," Bloomberg quoted Trump. That's a tall one. He has been assaulting Sessions for over a year because Sessions obeyed the law. No one has done more than Sessions in carrying out Trump's agenda, from immigration to control of the border to law enforcement issues.

Asked if he would comply with a subpoena from Mueller, Trump said, "I'll see what happens" and added: "I view it differently. I view it as an illegal investigation." By way of explanation, Trump told Bloomberg "great scholars" have said "there never should have been a special counsel."

"Great scholars?" Aw, come on, now that is funny. :roflol:

All kidding aside, there is something seriously wrong with Trump. I am no psychiatrist, but paranoid schizophrenia tops my list.
