I knew you couldn't back up your emotional rant about who made Trump's billions. Thanks for proving it. So easy. :)

It would be much easier to refrain from reciting the litany of John McCain’s defects, and side with him against the predictable bumptiousness of President Trump, were it not for the fact of the news reported today that Sarah Palin is not invited—in fact may have been specifically dis-invited—from his memorial service. Palin has never been anything but gracious to McCain and grateful for his selection of her to be his running mate in 2008, even though McCain’s staff—especially the egregious Steve Schmidt and Nicole Wallace (both now regulars on MSNBC, which should tell you all you need to know)—undermined Palin from the start rather than preparing her for the stage on which their impetuous boss had abruptly placed her.

It was Palin’s pick that gave a shot in the arm for McCain and might have actually have helped to propel him to victory over Obama (McCain was ahead of Obama in many polls in mid-September) if the financial crisis hadn’t hit, which McCain badly flubbed in response. Palin was not ready to be on a presidential ticket and McCain’s premature pick ruined a promising political career.

Just how can you complain about Trump’s boorish egotism when you decide to shun the person whose career you ruined, and who has been nothing but loyal?

This is why, despite the many good things that can be said about McCain, he drives a lot of us crazy. Unlike the Naval Aviator McCain, loyalty always seem a one-way street with the politician, McCain.

    And to top it off...
And if that was not enough, he had to turn to the Russkie mafia when banks were no longer extending credit to the bankruptcy king.
Born on third base and his supporters claim he hit a homerun all by his little old idiot self.

Reagan was no navy brat. He did time in the private sector as did Trump. Reagan was not a career politician either. Reagan did make an effort to secure the border. It didn't work but he made the effort. Where did McCain negotiate anything successfully? Both Reagan and Trump are negotiators.

Trump may have inherited a million dollars (not billions) but there are not too many that have the smarts to hang on to it.....let alone parlay it into billions. How many athletes blow so much more?

I have lived in the state of California for 54 years and I spend a lot of time in New York. They are the two greatest states in the US and there isn't even a close third except maybe for my native Pennsylvania.

Oh pleeeeze! California's GDP growth rate was 2.5% compared to the rest of the nation's 2.4%.

What ever they're doing right it's just barely better than the rest of the nation one tenth of one percent to be exact.

No, we condemned Obama for killing American Citizens without their constitutionally guaranteed due process. I recall so many on the left defending Obama. Can you give us an example?

You might want to read some history there, bub. Sad you think time in the private sector is worth more than a 20 year career in the military.

Can't disinvite someone who was never invited. Pence will probably be there.

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/08/29/john-mccains-funeral-events-everything-need-to-know.html
    Sept. 1
At 8:30 a.m. ET, McCain's casket is moved by members of the Armed Forces to a motorcade, which takes him to the Washington National Cathedral.

"The motorcade will pause at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial where Mrs. Cindy McCain will lay a ceremonial wreath honoring all whose lives were lost during the Vietnam War. The public is welcome to line the procession route along Constitution Avenue to pay their respects to Senator McCain," according to McCain's website.

Then at 10 a.m. ET, a private service is held for family, friends, colleagues and various other political leaders. Vice President Mike Pence will likely attend the funeral.

Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, who blocked McCain's own White House ambitions, are expected to take the mic and say a few words at some point during the ceremony.

It speaks to Trump's lack of moral fiber. Not the smartest rock in the pile and just more divisive conduct by Trump.

Exactly. I was really hoping one of them would bite because I would walk through the percentages on how much he had to start and what he turned it into.

Seriously, how stupid can some of these pundits be to claim Trump is dumb? You can say he made some dumb decisions and that's true but to pretend he's dumb overall or didn't make his fortune is beyond stupid.
