    They have been letting women on board for decades.

    They just require the women to compete with the men.

    The fact is far fewer women than men wish to even be a CEO or senior board member.

    Most women are smarter and decide they are not happy clawing to the top.

    Yeah, you run with that but don't fall down and put out an eye...There is plenty of evidence that the board of directors is all about politics and not so-called merit..

    There are plenty of countries and cities that have plenty of Republican officials, DAs, and individual citizens who are quite capable to filing criminal charges and lawsuits to who could be doing exactly that in California, just like Republicans around the WHOLE COUNTRY could be doing the same thing! At EVERY election!

    But only a literal handful in the WHOLE COUNTRY do even manage ANYTHING even close.

    These kinds of apocryphal stories being MILLIONS of illegal votes are simply lies.


    PS: I hope the Republican here who had their dog have "someone" register their dog to vote sent the criminal charge for the county Sherriff to investigate to help get rid of such scofflaws!

    Yep, just waking up to this news here in my hotel in Europe... and of course CNN reports it a a positive development. It may be for the company with 11 outside directors: what if it a small private company with 3 inside directors? Are there exceptions?

    Probably not. Just read of it, and it only applies to the public corps, and the governor himself doubt it’ll hold...

    In a signing message, Brown wrote that "[t]here have been numerous objections to this bill and serious legal concerns have been raised" that might "prove fatal to its ultimate implementation." Still, he emphasized, "it's high time corporate boards include the people who constitute more than half of the 'persons' in America."

    In CA couldn't the the board members just change their driver license to indictate they are female? They can maybe draw straws to see who gets the legal sex change.
