Do you lock the doors of your house?

Not always, no. Do you lock your bedroom door when you go to bed?

OK, let's put a sign in your front yard stating that.

Do what you like. Your analogy is dumb, no amount of sprinkles and whip cream is going to make it not dumb.

`Having viewed ad participated in numerous threads on this and several other political forums makes me wonder if the ONLY solution to most ALL the issues people tend to perpetually disagree on can only be a temporary one brought about as the result of a major destructive conflict which requires a massive investment in labour to rebuild that which has been destroyed.
The world population is currently about 7,700,000,000 persons, with the growth rate constantly increasing and currently about 117,000 persons each day at this moment.
The U.S.A. takes in the largest number of immigrants (legal/illegal) each year, about 1,000,000 or more, about three times that of the next highest country, and the census bureau reports a population increase of about 3,300,000 each year.
When Reagan stated “In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.” referring to the economic crisis when he was inaugurated, he hit the nail on the head. But, I think those words are fitting to most every crisis situation that arises, government seems incapable of fixing anything at all, but only puts off any solution for future generations to have to contend with, and in most, if not every instance by making it an economic problem.
I maintain that we, as a nation (republic) of 50 States, will NEVER begin to RESOLVE any of our problems UNLESS we repeal both the 16th and 17th amendments. And after that, we should focus our attention of what to do about the Federal Reserve and our fiat monetary system.
As for this threads topic question, a person can be something different depending on the issue at hand, and must be if there is any intent to resolve problem issues rationally and reasonably without making them more difficult for future generations to contend with.

What does this have to do with the OP - other than to show that Republicans don't care much for the teaching of Jesus ?

How many of them are there? That info should be easily determined from the I-94 arrival/departure database.

No, because Christianity is a religion, and Liberalism is a mental illness. Can't compare these two.

As I mentioned, it's the arrival/departure card non-citizens are issued to record their arrival and later their departure.

    NO.

DOZENS of countries bring in more immigrants per capita than does the USA.

And, removing income tax as a federal revenue source???

I suppose we can defend our nation with a "gofundme" - right?

    NO?

    A meaningless comparison.

Where did you get that from?

We defend our nation with our military, as always, funded by taxes -Agree?

What are the actual measurable requirements to be a Christian other than just claiming you are one?

    I got it from YOU.

You propose getting rid of the 16th amendment and now you say defense would be funded by ... TAXES??

    Oh, wait.

I'll bet you're thinking that the 16th amendment would be replaced by some form of taxes oriented to moving the tax load more heavily onto the middle class!

After all, our income disparity isn't NEARLY as serious as you would like it to be - right?

    No you didn't.

    I'm waiting.

There would be no need to replace the 16th amendment, simply follow the Constitution as it was originally written.

Taxes were never intended to reduce income disparity. And NOTHING stops States from taxing their own inhabitants, with their consent of course, to fund any and all the social programs they wish -is there?

So what? And black people were never intended to be anything but slaves. Saying that ignorant, immoral, unethical people intended something isn't strong support for your case.
