Not to worry. Turning mostly worthless land into a viable development generates loads of taxes year after year.

Don't be mad at them for doing it, be mad at them for not fixing it.

I seem to remember many RWers hating on GE back in the successful days, because they paid no income taxes.

I’ll pause while you chase that strawman down.
Come back when you’ve gathered a rational though. I know it’s hard but we all believe in you. You’ll get it one day!

To be fair the rich pay a higher percent of their incomes in taxes than the poor and middle class. And its even worse when you consider that the poor and middle class get a lot more in government benefits relative to taxes paid. However the rich are taking most of the economic growth and we need to fix that problem. Part of that is re-balancing the tax code to keep inequality at healthy levels and spend that money on programs that benefit both the poor and middle class equally like universal healthcare, higher education, retirement, etc.

If one wants to talk against "wealthy welfare", I'll gladly join the fight against that. But all businesses(including democrat-ran businesses) not just Kushner, has been abusing the tax laws. Legally.

Income tax is the second plank of the Communist Manifesto. Look it up. That's where the idea came from. Taxing people's labor is an obscene Commie idea.

Dirty Donald used the same scam because of the legal loophole allowing commercial real estate to depreciate despite it rising in value. This total scam was enhanced in the 2017 enacted tax cuts for the rich and famous.

How much in tax deductions is generated by the risk Kushner and Trump take.

Their risk is public exposure of their skullduggery. They also cheat contractors and probably claim that as a tax deduction.

I don’t hear the left whining about 100 billion US taxpayer dollars getting spent on illegals every year.

I take all of my tax breaks as well and work closely with my Attorneys and accountants to make sure I keep every dime I possibly can. Everyone should be doing that. Nobody is worse at managing money than the government.

Rich people simply hire KPMG to come up with tax shelters for them.

    Always have. Always will.
