Trump has responded with a, "Who Cares?" Well...he might want to remember the dozens of times that he talked about Elizabeth Warren's heritage and accusing her of lying. Elizabeth Warren remembers...

The best thing about the results of this DNA test is the fact that now we can have a serious discussion about Elizabeth Warren's policy recommendations without morons defaulting to making the accusation that she lied about her ancestry.

And Carlos Bustamante probably has a new Jag or money in his mattress.
How 'bout an independent test with full transparency.
Or do you just believe because that's what your daily marching orders told you to believe?

I'm sure he would pay up. Would be funny if she picks the Clinton foundation for her "charity". But I am glad the left is accepting 1/512ths of possible native American as the requirement for minority status. Their typical one drop rule still applies. And now no White American can be considered racist anymore since we all have at least that much African in our DNA. So we all get government grants now. Yay!!!

There is literally no such thing as a DNA test which is "independent with full transparency."

All of those ancestry DNA websites keep the algorithyms and methodologies about their own DNA tests a trade secret. That's why I can continue to make fun of white nationalists like @Brewskier who claim that they are pure white thanks to DNA testing which has, again, not been confirmed by peer reviewed testing.

So Pocahontas is any where from 1/64th to 1/1024th redskin.

The magic number to be a member of the Muslatto Mafia is 1/8th.

I guess Mulattos are held to a higher standard than native Americans.

    Is that politically correct ?

She shows up, someone picked by Trump takes DNA samples from her, delivers it to a DNA testing place, "follows the DNA", and it is examined by someone of Trumps choosing. The dems can tag along as well.
But you and your brethren ilk would NEVER go for actual transparency like that.

Thanks for confirming that 1. You and your ilk see NO reason to be transparent and 2. Poco's "strong evidence" is unverifiable bunk.

Tenth generation? That's like 1/2048th. In no way does that make one a native American unless everything else about the person is crap. Most Tribes require at least 1/8th to be a member or receive government recognition. And you have to live on a reservation. Warren comes nowhere near. And wasn't raised native either.

"The inherent imprecision of the six-page DNA analysis could provide fodder for Warren’s critics. If her great-great-great-grandmother was Native American, that puts her at 1/32nd American Indian. But the report includes the possibility that she’s just 1/1024th Native American if the ancestor is 10 generations back."
    https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/po...rican-issue/YEUaGzsefB0gPBe2AbmSVO/story.html

The native american tribes says she is NOT part native american even 1/1024th and I doubt 1/1024 gave her her high cheekbones she claimed proved it.

I have .1% to 2% Swedish. I have never claimed to be of Swedish heritage I am 81% English/Irish/Scottish.

Elizabeth Warren does have a minute fraction of native-American ancestory, but that makes absolutely no difference in mitigating the theft of opportunity she perpetuated to enrich herself. According to the report from Bustamante, she had a single ancestor from six to ten generations ago who had native American heritage. As a base point to begin an argument, the average white American has at least some native American ancestory.

    https://www.quora.com/What-percentage-of-the-US-population-carry-Native-Americans’-DNA

In light of this data, it would be very surprising if Elizabeth Warren, who comes from Oklahoma, would have absolutely no native American DNA. The only salient issue is just how much DNA is required to deprive true native Americans of their federal grants and federal set asides which were granted to the Tribes so that they could lift themselves out of some pretty appalling conditions of poverty, substance abuse, and squalor which can be found on the reservations. Here are two links which describe how much native-American ancestory should be required:

    https://www.theroot.com/how-do-i-legally-prove-native-american-ancestry-1790877932

    https://www.powwows.com/much-percentage-native-american-enrol-tribe/

It should be crystal clear to everyone that Elizabeth Warren comes nowhere near the threshholds required to claim native American heritage for the sake of an advantage in hiring, college admission, or preference to a graduate school.

So does the fact that Elizabeth Warren could, according to the Bustamante report which shows Elizabeth Warren as having 0.094% native American DNA, while the average white American has 0.18% native American DNA, exonerate her in the least? Of course not. She has less than half the native DNA as the average person reading this thread. Yet she stole opportunities from native American tribes by marking native-American ancestory on college Admission Application and took slots intended for real native Americans which had a desperate need for those slots so the tribes could use skilled doctors, counselors, nurses, engineers, and lawyers to protect and enrich their tribes. Stealing from the most vulnerable people in the nation is not something that should be rewarded with your votes.

If you respect or empathize with the plight of the Native American tribes, then you cannot support Elizabeth Warren.
