Thank you for a most excellent example of a straw man argument.

Who do you think is more qualified as SecDef than Mattis and why did Trump **** up by not appointing that person first?

Is there a problem with that? Not all conservatives are as conservative as other conservatives.

Not for me, but I think it will hasten the end of the Republican party. The Democrats are screwing themselves too in a race to the bottom. It would be good to see both major parties crash and burn just to see if something good rises from their ashes.

Yeah ... 'cause you're "sort of a democrat" too. Omarosa marketed to exactly those sorts of loosely affiliated gossip junkies, and she sold lots of books. Have you finished reading it, or only gotten as far as Mattis alleged "moron" comment?

In that interview on "60 Minutes," Trump also announced that he "knows more about Nato than Mattis." There goes Trump's mouth getting in the way of his brains again. General Mattis was the Supreme Commander of Nato. Who knows more? Once again, it is Trump dissing advisors who tell him what he needs to hear and not what he wants to hear.
Also, the so-called arms deal, arranged by the Obama administration, is not under contract, is not official and involves arms purchases over many years. And it doesn't mean 500,000 jobs as Trump said. Another line of nonsense for his flock to absorb.

I have no idea what that means. Who is “Difi”? What are “hating fanboys”? Is this HS slang?

Trump’s narcissism and Twitter thumbs get him into more trouble than anyone else. He truly is his own worst enemy. Now we have a POTUS who is in a public Twitter war with a Porn Star. The man has flushed every ounce of dignity in the White House down one of his gold-plated toilets. He’s caused more foreigners to laugh at him and the US than all eight years of Obama.

If Trump says he knows more than Mattis about NATO and foreign policy, I believe him..

Trump has proven himself to be the most brilliant foreign policy expert in the past 70 years.

Correct. All members of a Presidential Administration serve at the President's pleasure.

Once the President has completed his second term, he will leave office. A dictator would not do that.

Trump will be a one term loser President, and the biggest sore loser this country has ever seen... mark this post.... you know I am right

to be honest, I am not even sure republicans will let Trump run for a second term, but I hope they do....

I think he needs to run in 2020 so the public gets a chance at closure by sayin... "your fired" at the voting booth, otherwise Trump will forever say he would of won if they let him run

Agreed on both points but Trump has made it clear he will fire anyone who doesn't click their heels and say "Yessir!" Mattis isn't the type to go against his oath; he'd rather die than do something to harm our nation.

Trump has gotten NATO to pay us more money -- well not really us, but they have to pay into NATO more and in a way, that makes me feel good because its like we are getting more money -- and getting more money is the goal at the end of the day when it comes to NATO

So Trump totally owned everyone on NATO

Agreed that our allies need to step up to the plate and that Trump's actions got an old idea some action. Still, if Trump had his way I think he'd pull us out completely. Someday someone will write a book about how much work it took to convince him otherwise.
