This is the most bizarre conversation I have ever witnessed in the Oval Office

That is actually a very good point because we have lost sight of the backdrop of West's rambling monologue in the Oval Office.

Retired with plenty of time on my hands, I have become a news junkie. Beginning with last weekend I was able to watch the development of Hurricane Michael. We knew it was going to be bad and on Wednesday I watched Michael as it slammed into the Florida panhandle as a Cat. 4 hurricane. News crews couldn't cover the damage until Thursday.

On Thursday I saw the destruction. Whole communities gone. Parts of the panhandle looked like they had been the victim of an atomic bomb. Homes gone. People lost everything except the clothes on their back. No electricity and no running water. No communication. Roads and highways impassable dead. Six dead, but that would climb. Now the death toll is 19, but that figure is 12 hours old and probably more are dead now.

It was one the worst catastrophes I have ever seen in my life, worse than the hurricanes last year and far worse than Florence. In my experience the only thing that rivals it was 9/11, which, of course, was far worse.

Then the network I was watching ran some ads and switched to this scene.



I was stunned. I literally could not believe what I was seeing. The shock wore off and I got really pissed. I have a hard time accepting that this narcissistic sociopath is our President, and the bizarre scene in the Oval Office in light of what was happening in Florida was difficult to comprehend. It was literally unbelievable, even for Trump.

Anyone who thinks Kanye West's rambling monologue with Trump listening intently to the praise being heaped upon him is simply fooling himself. This discourse was abnormal ... in the extreme.

No, West and Trump did not discuss the Florida disaster. West engaged in a ten minute monologue praising his superman, Trump, and explaining his hydrogen powered Air Force One. Trump listened intently to the praise being heaped upon him as Floridians looked for their living room and searched for the dead and injured.

 

Are you serious? I began this thread because there is an important message here. I have always believed that Trump is narcissistic and that he is a sociopath. In this thread, I and others have taken pains to prove that fact.

You wish to create a distraction because you don't like the truth. Of course, I will be non-responsive to your distractions. This thread is not about West's shoe line or how much money he has made as a successful rapper.

I responded because that statement is a lie. I am not discrediting West. If you had been following along, you would know I was discrediting Trump.

How did this show up on my radar today. Today I first found out that we have all this whining over a black well known man talking his heart out to the president and of course the press. I guess were the whiners to be made happy, West would have talked to Trump in the shell of a blown up garage.

Sad to see this talk by Kanye turned into a hate fest against Trump who patiently listened. Trump does not create hurricanes either.

You were not suffering the impact of a hurricane. i was at home in nice warm weather. Most of the public were taking it easy. But you, you had to watch the black entertainer for some odd reason to try to bark this week and later in the month. Watch cartoons.
