Women tries to stop me from coming into my building because she feels insecure,
Downtown St. Louis luxury loft, because she don’t feel that I belong, never really thought this would happen to me, but it did!
Then 30 mins later police knock on my door, because she called! I was shocked this is America in 2018!

The man being blocked, followed, and had the police called on him, obviously feels it was racial.

What profiling means, is some people are scared and bigoted. You know that.

 

I don’t care what he “feels”. I feel a lot of things that are unjustified and thus invalid.
I care about factual and unbiased evidence.
He was entering a secured building through a door that she had opened without entering his code.
She asked him to enter it - he refused. She should have called the police or building security at this point if she felt threatened. It looks to me both sides were aggressive.

Had this been a monitored environment and security had seen him entering without entering his code he would have been questioned. I have worked in numerous places were “tailgating” through a secure permitter was an immediate termination.

 

Yeah, that's a real shame about the guy who had a woman ask him if he lived there. The horror!! How will he ever move on with his life???

After viewing video, he did act a little aggressive. But she was also aggressive. And calling the police was over the top, especially after she watched him use his key.

 

Most people in this situation would've backed up, closed the door and then opened it with their key to show the skeptical neighbor they were in fact a tenant. This guy chose to get into a competition with a distraught, semi-crazy woman to see who could be a bigger jerk. She got her karma. His is still in the pipeline.

In St. Louis, building have keys or key fobs that unlocks the door so you can enter your home -- no doormen or women needed -- and being recognized by other occupants of the building is also not a requirement to enter your home either.

 

But it costs nothing to mind your own business, white folks.

The black woman wouldn't have tried to stop the white guy from entering the building -- especially if he needed a key to even get to that point......still waiting for all of these thousands of examples of black women stopping white folks from entering their home
