    Article 4 section 4

    Section 4.
The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.

That's like saying that the general welfare clause covers everything that progressives want and the commerce clause allows government to charge you a fee for not having health insurance. Conservative whine pitifully about that bastardization of language, and then hypocritically do the same.

The migration of peaceful individuals is not an "invasion" no matter how loosely you define that word.

And the General Welfare means we get cradle to grave food, clothing, housing, healthcare, and of course phones.

So you are saying native Americans were not invaded by Europeans who moved onto their land and kept coming in droves until the native Americans were pushed off their own land?

Yep. Just the same as your interpretation of protecting the states borders.
Only I was kidding. You aren't. But you can see how similar each position is. Actually damn near equal. Just from the opposite view.

So you are saying that peaceful migrants, coming here for work and opportunity are planning to arm themselves and drive Europeans onto reservations after committing mass murder? Will you first sell Los Angeles for some shiny beads?

I'm putting that firmly in the conspiracy theory category.

Arresting the employers of illegal aliens with the same passion you arrest the illegal aliens would work better than everything else -- but it will never happen

It wasn't meant as a deterrent. It's simply the only option on the table other than releasing them into the country.

    Either:

    1. Imprison mother and son together, which is illegal
    2. Imprison mother and place son in care of the state.

    There is no

    3. Release them both into the country

As the left was constantly baiting.

    Do keep up.

But you would be the first one to say Europeans invaded america that already had an indigenous population. We could learn from their mistake.

Europeans came here for a new start too and the indigenous population suffered. Illegally crossing our borders is an invasion just as someone busting into your house demanding things from you is a home invasion.

So if this isn't an invasion what would you label it?

Three Border Patrol Agents Assaulted in Five Days

Our agents put their safety on the line every time they go out and patrol the border,” El Centro Sector Chief Patrol Agent Gloria I. Chavez said in a written statement. “Acts of violence like the ones committed against our agents will not deter us from our mission.”

"Later that evening, agents patrolling near the Gran Plaza Outlets in Calexico, California, encountered a group of people throwing rocks across the border from Mexico. Officials said the people in Mexico intended to cause harm or destruction in the United States. As backup approached, the aggressors left the area before Mexican officials could arrive."

"A Border Patrol agent was shot at early Sunday morning while sitting in his marked patrol car just north of the U.S.-Mexico border, authorities said.

The gunfire occurred about 2:15 a.m. a mile and a half west of the San Ysidro Port of Entry, according to William Rogers, supervisory Border Patrol agent with the San Diego Sector. At least two bullets struck the driver’s side of the vehicle, but the agent was not injured and immediately drove to a safer location."

How about something Trump has never understood....called "Due Process."

The Jews killed in gas chambers were also denied their "Due Process."

To Trump....the law is whatever he says...he and Stephen Miller are showing the world that the US is spiraling into authoritarianism....

Many of those coming here, from the southern areas, are part of the indigenous people.
And, I see no evidence of any immigrant throwing people out of their homes/areas. But then, I don't watch alt right fake news, so I may miss those reports.

I also don't see those indigenous people who still live here on their own lands those Europeans pushed them on, looking to take their land back either.

Are you rooting for an open border?

Or is this just a convenient attack on the policies attempted, since you aren't offering any solutions. Just complaining?

    Yup... just complaining.

Hyper partisan BS trying to score political points with no desire to even fix the problem.

But hey, if you can use this to attack republicans, then any means to the ends right?

Jesus (no pun intended), where to start.

    1. Securing our border is not the "least of our problems". Its funny you talk about the drug epidemic, yet can't connect the dots that most of the drugs come across the southern border. Really?

    2. "Money obsessed" society? You mean capitalistic. The profound concept that people work harder and more efficiently if that means they get to put more money in their pocket. As opposed to the entitled victim mentality of the brain dead liberals who think humans, who are inherently selfish, will magically continue to be entrepreneurs and motivated to work without the reward of wealth.

    3. If you don't want the ten commandments on our government institutions, don't want God on our currency or pledge of allegiance. Fine. Separation of Church and State is important. So don't use it when you think it supports your agenda. That would be hypocritical.

So... because America used to be inhabited by native americans, we shouldn't have borders or any security?
