    Nixon was all for bombing the Viet Minh at Dien Bien Phu in 1954 to save the French, and Johnson, the Dem Senate Majority leader, said "no."

    Eisenhower picked up the French load after they skedaddled with supplies, training, advisors, etc. JFK increased the numbers of Americans to 13K, Johnson went crazy, then Nixon took four long years to get us out.

    Yep, the Republicans could have allowed elections, which would have led to an unified Vietnam.

    Guess what we have now?

    I would typically say ya, that should probably warrant a visit from the secret service. However I liken Rosie, on an intellectual level, to a crazy homeless guy on a streetcorner yelling at the wind. I dont think what either of them say should be taken seriously.

    Why would this even be brought up? I don't know anyone on either side of the political spectrum who is interested in the thoughts of Rosie O'Donnell. As for Treason, no, I don't think so. Not because I support her, but because we all make hair brained statements from time to time - the 'treason police' would be mighty busy if they tried to round up anyone who makes stupid statements.
