Perhaps the American people have lost their taste for individual liberty.

    Larry Schweikart‏ @LarrySchweikart

Just to recap absentee/early voting #s: We’ve looked at AZ, FL (both statewide & 4 key counties), IA (statewide & 2 key counties), NC, & OH (2 key counties) That’s 12 data points. In EVERY SINGLE ONE Republicans are performing better than previous elections & Democrats worse

I don't actually have any evidence except for the fact I talk to Africans at work who are changing votes and some of them are not happy with the way Kanye is being treated and then there is David Harris Jr. We all know Candace Owens, a black African American started out as "Red Pill Black Woman" and it worked well for her. David Harris Jr has done the same thing as "Red Pill Black Man". He is a former police officer who has a lot of followers. He has stated that none of his friends were happy with his decision to join the Republican party and support Trump and now almost 90% of his friends are supporting Trump he said. There was also an African lady who spoke against the Democrats in California saying that illegals were turning poor, uneducated black communities into ghettos and she was upset the Democrats would not help her community. Kanye also has followers and I talked to one a few days ago who was disappointed with how Kanye is being treated.

I can't give you numbers but I can say with 100% certainty that more blacks are supporting Trump now then there was before the election. It may not be a huge number but at least Republicans are finally reaching out to them. Hopefully they all will get out and vote in the mid terms.

Funny thing, Natty, I've watched all of Trump's rallies. I see signs "Blacks for Trump", "Women for Trump", "Gays for Trump", "Hispanics for Trump", "Asians for Trump". Haven't seen a single sign saying "White men for Trump." Imagine that.

Your anecdotal evidence undoubtedly comports with your partisan proclivities, but the GOP is still inordinately dependent on a single demographic, White males. The Democratic Party is far more representative of America's increasingly diverse populace, with the woefully-underrepresented 52% of women about to make significant progress.

Current Republican efforts to suppress the Black vote are not conducive to winning over Black Americans.

Can the Trumped GOP continue to command the enthusiastic allegiance of neo-nazis and other white supremacists who hail their "Glorious Leader!" while attracting Black and other underrepresented Americans to its ranks?

    I don't think so.

lol, you do realize that the rally organizers make up those signs for the cameras and give it to the tiny percentage of non-white voters that show up at trump rallies. trump doesn't need any "white men for trump" signs..hahahahahaha.

I read your post and the moment I saw you call the Republican Party a bunch of Neo Nazi's and white Supremacists I knew it was just more liberal name calling and talk. The Republicans are getting more African American voters and this will help us in the coming mid terms.

Yeah and you have what proof to verify your claim? Many people take and hold signs because they want to and not because they are getting paid to do it. We all know they really are not getting paid to hold up signs. Only CNN would try to do something as stupid as that.

    False!

You know that I never suggested any such thing.

The neo-nazis and other white supremacists who enthusiastically hail Trump as their "Glorious Leader!" are not the Republican Party.

    As I opined:

Can the Trumped GOP continue to command the enthusiastic allegiance of neo-nazis and other white supremacists
who hail their "Glorious Leader!" while attracting Black and other underrepresented Americans to its ranks?

    I don't think so.

In all fairness, there are record numbers of extreme white nationalists running under the republican banner right now and the republican party hasn't exactly disavowed them or done much about their candidacies. Republicans can try as much as they want to run away their current identity...but they constantly validate this view of their party. Miller and Bannon are what they are.

I'm not here to educate you. If you believe that the republican party is full of minorities that supporting it...the point is really too ignorant to bother with. Last week, I heard trump suggesting that having Kayne rant at the White House would raise his numbers with black voters by about 25 points...smdh....lol. The bs is so ridiculous, there's really no point in commenting. I think republicans are trying hard to feel better about who they are and what they're increasingly becoming....so if those signs make you feel better about yourself and what you support....you go with that.

There are hardcore Trumpers who are in denial that there are self-proclaimed neo-nazis and other avowed white supremacists with a comparable emotional attachment to their glorious leader.

I have noted the common devotion, but have never suggested the GOP and the overtly racist groups are indistinguishable as was falsely asserted.

Can you cite the number of white nationalists in the Republican party? I'd like to compare that number to the number of registered Republicans.

Agreed, it is a pretty small number, however a lot of otherwise rational people seem to defend the racist wing of the party. It is a slippery slope in my opinion.

People on both sides defend extremists within their party. It's nothing new. What we're seeing more of now over the past decade or more, is distractions. Scandals, extremists...many other things to distract the public from what our government is really doing.

Right on target. 24 hour a day "news" stations and tons of slanted political operatives on both sides digging dirt on opposition. Both parties are selling us out while creating distractions enabling them to continue the thievery unabated. I would love to see a Perot type movement to create a new party and put the present pack of Congressional scumbags out of business. However unless a charismatic leader emerges, it will not happen.

The FBI just busted an online network of Russians whose sole purpose was to infiltrate issues and stir up anger, dissension, and division in the upcoming midterm elections and among our people in general.

Nope. It won't happen. I tried to vote 3rd party thinking it would make me feel better in '16. Now I just feel like it didn't matter. Thus I will not vote 3rd party in 2020. But show me a Tulsi Gabbard or a Mitt Romney or something like that, and I'm all ears.

We almost had it in '92 and Perot wimped out...Since then we've had a parade of neoCON whores. I thought Obama might change directions, but as soon as he appointed another Goldman Sachs lackey to head the treasury department, I knew it was more of the same crap. Trump ran as a populist, then immediately appointed a total percentage swindler to be Sec of Treasury and I do believe that he is connected to Putin's crime empire. At least he has not started any idiotic wars getting a bunch of brave Americans killed for no reason other than corporate profit. However his administration is a real clown show and I believe that he is a sleazy crook using his office to enrich his family. We can do a hell of a lot better in my opinion. I hope Trump decides to retire after his first term and the GOP nominates a guy like Romney and the Democrats nominate a great candidate who will engage in a serious respectful debate of ideas rather that the ugly turd fight that was the 2016 election. Cheers

Trump certainly won't retire in my opinion. The left has a real problem. They have no leadership, no one to run. The reason I mentioned Tulsi earlier is because she's a wicked smart Democrat. The problem with her is, she stood for true American values when it came to foreign policy instead of a war-hungry Hillary, so the Hillary fans tossed her under the bus and forced her to support Bernie Sanders.

Politics is dirtier and dirtier than ever. It will keep getting worse until each side decides to focus on policies and not popularity, or crazy promises.

I think you might be dismissing Kamela Harris too soon. She could possibly become a formidable candidate and she is also wicked smart and won't be intimidated by Trumps big mouth. I hope the GOP gets rid of Trump and runs a less clownish and more honorable candidate and we have a more civil election between two intelligent and thoughtful candidates.
