    My job, if I were Senate Majority leader would be to preserve the integrity of the Senate. The spectacle that was Christine Ford humiliated the US Senate. There would not have been a negotiation, there wouldn't have been a 10 day delay. It would've been shut down ****ing flat.

    Would have like to see the shrink notes. Smelled like a false memory dredged up during a psych session. Would have like to see the lie detector test. Curious whether they even asked if Kavanaugh was a part of her restored memories.

    Oh hell yes, I would've pushed for her impeachment. Her conduct was far worse than that dude who sold Obama's seat.

    Ford never alleged that.(Though it would have made for a juicier story. I guess she wanted to keep her lies as believable as possible.)

    I am much more interested in what President Trump thinks and does than Carter who has demonstrated his incompetence even when he was in his prime.

    Probably I did not state my position clearly on BK, and that's why you misunderstand it.

    I don't care about his shenanigans as a young man under the influence of alcohol 30 years ago. I do not consider that behavior, if true, as disqualifying to sit on SCOTUS. I do believe her over him, but that's not really the point.

    That he perjured himself on at least 2 occasions before Congress IS problematic. It IS disqualifying. He was a poor candidate for Trump to nominate, but small minds think alike. It's history now. A mediocre SCOTUS has yet another less than mediocre pea in that pod. Life goes on.
